Game Grumps (aka Egoraptor plays some games)

What do you mean? They still physically did it.

I think it was more that it was done tongue in cheek. They treated it like a legit art show, even though they were aware of how ridiculous the drawings were and how crazy the subject matter of some of them. They got dressed up and presented the pieces as you would expect, even credited "Suzy Ü" as the artist, which was a nice touch. It was a fun event where people could buy prints of the stuff they made during that series so the proceeds could go to charity.

I thought it was a really neat and smart way to cap off that series, even if it was impromptu.

Man oh man is Arin amazing.

Alakazam is Blue's final pokemon, all Arin has left is a level 90 beedrill,
and Arin forgets that psychic is weak against bug and uses pursuit instead of twin needle and loses after Alakazam gives him 2 free turns. A couple of episodes ago Arin pointed out to Dan that psychic was weak against bug.

I think there was downtime between when he pointed that out and them recording again(Since he had to go farm for items and what not).

Arin has a bad memory. Dan is the one with good memory.

It hurt to watch, i felt for him. He should be able to clean up in an episode or two, and we can finally close the book on Fire Red...
Heart Gold or Soul Silver when?

Arin probably forgot that
Gen 3 Pursuit runs off of Beedrill's appalling Sp.Atk, and hits Alakazam's superior Sp.Def. It's an understandable mistake to make, since the move has been physical for a long time now.

He could have won even if Beedrill was using Cut. He didn't even have to use a super effective attack, he just had to use a physical attack.

Alakazam gave Arin 2 free turns and he used pursuit on both. He knew it wasn't going to work. Immediately after losing he remembered that psychic was weak to bug and asked Siri to confirm.

I kind of feel like he does it on purpose. It's constant of him fucking up the obvious real solution. I think it's just his schtick and he knows better, just like his fake outrages. Also, lol at the awkward consoling himself at the end of katamari.

Oh god, Arin wants to do Leaf Green, Heart Gold AND Soul Silver, Ruby AND Sapphire, Diamond AND Pearl, Black, White, Back 2, AND White 2, and X AND Y.

Look forward to Sun AND Moon in ~30 years.

Playing all the Sonic games would be Arin's personal level of Hell, and I would savor every second of his suffering.

Meh, Arin's hating on Sonic games is getting old. He just loves playing the bad sonic games to make fun of them. We got it, they're bad.

Even when they had the completionist as a guest playing sonic 3 in grumpcade Arin would make fun of it, he will bitch about anything sonic related because he hates sonic in general.

It would be great if he played a good sonic game like sonic 2 for a change so he could at least appreciate how good sonic was back in 1992

Problem there is those series start off hilarious but just dissolve into Arin playing up the badness of an incredibly boring game.

Having said that, I would welcome Sonic Adventure 2

I'd actually like to see Arin and especially Danny's reaction to a decent Sonic game like Generations.

The had Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the best Sonic game, but Arin wouldn't play it himself and had Gerard come over. I figured Arin didn't want to taint his preconceptions by playing a good Sonic game.

Danny always seems optimistic about the bad Sonic games they play. I reckon the dynamic would be exactly the same even if they played a good one

From the handful of S3K episodes I watched, the one moment I remembered was Jirad finding this cool secret I had no idea about, while Arin was going on about how the game is just "you go fast and that's it". Doubt they'd be impressed by Generations

Arin is gonna make the Inside playthrough annoying. I can tell Danny is trying to enjoy the atmosphere but Arin doesn't care and he's just gonna try and make a joke out of everything.

Even with Arins comments, it seems Dans still enjoying Inside(And so is Arin). It really is a pretty damn good game for Dan to play, totally has that old school, fantasy/sci-fi feel that he's probably nostalgic for.

I spoiled myself on Inside last night. I watched the entirety of Best Friends Play's playthrough. My god that ending. I cannot wait until Danny and Arin get to that part. That finale is going to be amazing.

Shame it's such a short game. (SBF was only 3 hours total. And the last 15 minutes was an alternate ending.)

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
SBF criken and GG all played inside so I just stuck with SBF playthrough and ignored the others, but hearing that Danny is playing caught my interest

Are they not going to finish Princess Remedy? I mean, between this and Suzy and Holly's channels, it's weird that no one ever finishes it. It's not a long game. :/

I think it looks like one of those games that's probably really fun to play but not a lot of fun to watch. At the very least, I watched the first episode and didn't care enough to watch any more, but the gameplay looked fun.

I really need to sit down and play Inside before I watch any more of Arin and Danny's playthrough. I don't really want to be spoiled on it, (especially since so many people in here have hyped up the ending,) but I just haven't worked up the will to dive in to that depressing-ass world, and I'm REALLY enjoying Danny's take on it.

Regardless, they are all literally one episode away from finishing the game. And yet they each apparently just decided to drop it right before the end. That really bugs me.

I really don't get the appeal of all these Japanese story games. There's no gameplay. I'm kind of glad they're not part of NormalBoots so we don't have to sit through Asago Academy. I was only able to stand like a few episodes of Continue? playing it and completely ignored BeardBros. It's.. I dunno. It's whatever. I'd rather they all get burned in a fire and never come back. Make games people!

Bleh, 3 boring series. Guess I'm out for a long while.

Personally, I think Inside has been a pretty good playthrough, though I think a lot of that is that Danny is playing it and not Arin. It got me to finally play Inside so that I wouldn't be spoiled, and the game is pretty great. It also progressively goes crazier and crazier as they go, so I'm excited to see how Danny (and to a lesser extent Arin) reacts to it.

Gal-Gun... Yeah, like someone else said, it's worn out it's welcome already. Arin does a lot of good voices, but when they play a game like this, he seems to default to his stupidest set, either Peewee Deedee or Generic Dubbed Anime Protagonist. I dunno.

And... Human Flat Fall is Arin, Ross, and Chris from Oney cartoons. I mostly hate Arin and Ross together, so I doubt that Chris is going to magically make it great.

FWIW, Ross and Chris are the ones playing the game so I feel like they're the main duo in that series.
Side Note: Gal Gun would be fine if they'd focus on the gameplay, but they're just dragging the cutscenes on for way too long.
