It seems that is a power cable. My PS4 in Asia has similar power plug model.

but there is - look on the Picture from the back. Theres something that looks like a removeable plastic Sheet.

And iam convinced that it is real. Those Pictures of the Console on that Carpet are looking realy real. From a design Standpoint to the lighting of the Photo itself. For me it looks real.

And the Design is all but not ugly. It looks convincing.

It looks pretty decent. I like the way the One S looks better. Will be picking up the Neo though, not this.

I really like the design but I have no reason to want one as I'll more than likely be getting a Neo at launch. I would have preferred this to have been bigger if that allowed it to be quieter though. Maybe we'll find out just how quiet it is in the next couple of hours.

Cheaper to make, and it also sparks more interests in the system. I don't see any reason to keep it the same. Refreshes are a good thing.

Sony Europe also delivers products to the Middle East. Delivery takes a bit longer, so distribution centres get hold of these products earlier. Some games got also leaked from that area several weeks before the official release happened.

However it could be real, although it's likely not the slim but a cloud machine. Like you know, download PSN games and stuff. I mean where would the HDD 500 go? The disc drive would already be an issue, then you have the components, battery, and Power Brick.

I guess what that'll means is it will be cheap for a cloud device. maybe $199?

reworking the chips and board saves money.
Putting it in a new case makes people double dip.
Putting it in a smaller case means they can put it in a smaller box.
You can fit more boxes on a palette, you can ship more boxes for the same price as the previous console.

Well, since my console is behind a TV stand cabinet (or w/e you want to call it), I don't really care about a redesign. Looks decent, I suppose. I still like the design of the OG-PS4 more.

Unless this thing is like 250 or $300 with a game kinda hard to find a reason to pick this up for me. Especially knowing neo is coming. Pretty nice design tho

Lmao @ no optical out. If the PS4K lacks that too, screw you Sony. Especially considering how upgrading will likely be mandatory if you don't want to play games with awful resolutions and frame-rate within the upcoming few years.

Looks ugly anyway.

Yeah, can easily see 449 or 499 for Neo. It's meant to be a premium model for higher end users, right?

Can someone diagram a size comparison with the original? I guess we're not going to get a real photo side-by-side out of whoever has this...

what makes it fake in my eyes, are the placement of the usb-ports.
makes no sense to have them that far from eachother.
They probably go to the same chip on the pcb, so why have them so far apart?.

and the ac-connector on the back seems to sit a bit high?. doesnt make sense to me either.

I'm just surprised that we are seeing Xbox and PS4 Slim's.

I guess those rumours that they were more expensive to make were actually bullshit.

The thing about this slim is while the Black might look a bit plain and even ugly to some, this thing is going to shine when it comes to special editions.

Even if you are interested in picking one up, i'd hold off until some of the Japanese white special editions come out especially.

I'm impressed that they've managed to include both a disc drive, removable HDD and internal power supply in that seemingly tiny box. I guess I'll bite. Hope there will be a white version.
