PS+ September: Journey, Lords of the Fallen, Prince of Persia

I have these. I need to just not buy stuff anymore. So many months of nothing.

If you haven't played Journey, PS+ just justified itself for the next 12 months for you.

lol. No. Now you're just setting someone up to be disappointed. Journey is just a nice looking simplistic game that's around 1 hr too long. Not really the best thing since sliced bread.

Datura is nice, that's been one I'd wanted to try but not enough to pay for. Forgotten Sands is fine, but I already own it.

It's...average. Has some good routes and some shitty ones. But if you've the time, you should definitely give it a go.
It's the one where one of the boys locks the protagonist in a cage to protect her, isn't it? Anyway, is there anything interesting storytelling/character-wise for those who won't get much out of the prettyboy/romance aspect?

I appreciate the upgrade from my PS3 version of Journey but it's really not the type of game you need to replay, even with improved visuals.

Lords of the Fallen slightly interested me when it came out, but every single souls clone misses the art and world design which makes that series incredible. From what I heard, LotF also misses a lot of the gameplay quality on top of forcing more of a story. I'll pass on this one.

The rest I don't really care about.

I wish I had played Journey as a PS+ game, I may have enjoyed it if it was free.

Guess I'll finally give Lords of the Fallen a try lol. Amnesia sounds good as well.

Where's Knack?

Excellent, was looking at picking up both Journey and LotF recently. Glad I didn't pull the trigger.

Is LotF the first AAA release on PS+ for PS4 (holy acronyms Batman!)?

I have Journey and Prince of Persia on disc somewhere in a box deep in a cupboard but otherwise that's 5 games I can download when they release. Nice. Won't play them but that is my problem not theirs :D

Some of those games look good, but Lords of the Fallen is just. so. bad.

It's like Dark Souls (obviously) but with a super sluggish and bad feeling gameplay.

Can't recommend it at all.

hopefully this will revitalize the online playerbase in Journey for PS4. I first played it at launch on PS3 and I ran into many other players. Played it again on PS4 like 2 months ago and didn't find a single person.

I have been curious about Lords of the Fallen, but heard bad things so didn't want to pay for it. Now I don't have to which is great. Journey is a game I still haven't gotten around to buying so that's really nice as well. Seems like yet another great month

Once again I'll mention: I wish PS+ gave you even a $5 credit or SOMETHING for every month you own 1 or all of the offered freebies...

I'm down for Journey

LotF is the Crunchy Flakes of video games. It's not worth your time now that Bloodborne, DS2, and DS3 are available.

I own all those games, so not a very interesting month.

Lords of Fallen was on Games with gold a couple months ago

Meh.... not bad if you dont own those games but the selection is boring to me.

Already got Journey and I'm not really interested in Lords of the Fallen.

Prince of Persia, though. Looking forward to that, PS3 games save the day again. Although I don't think anything will top Yakuza 4.

Better than usual. As I still have Plus left till January 2018, I'll let the coming months make my decision to get some more Plus time. They might still pull some garbage out of the can like they did this August after some relatively good months.

This time I'm interested in giving both PS4 games a try! That's quite a change!

Sold lineup! How's Lords of the Fallen?

I'd recommend people giving PoP: FS a try. Great game, and lots of excellent platforming that becomes more, and more challenging as it goes on.
