Here's a stat. After EVO 2014, Daigo had only lost 3 times to an American. PR Rog at Capcom Cup, 801 Strider at CEO, and Justin Wong at EVO 2016.
Lud and Rayray become the 4th and 5th American in more than 2 years to beat Daigo.
why specifically after evo 2014? you can add john choi and fchamp to that
Because that was the stat I used. You want me to go further than EVO 2014? There will always be a starting point.
Name all the americans Daigo has ever lost to, ever Kappa

daigo would have won his matches if he had a personal vip room to warm up

GFuel better renew next year. This amount of shilling needs to be rewarded.Man, I feel so thirsty for some G-Fuel, which are free from sugar and additives. The right way to game.

Kinda surprised Pink Diamond still isn't sponsored. though I guess KI being a dying game might have something to do with it.
I don't if it's because of the players but S1 characters seem so dominant still.
Daigo lost to a bunch of nobodies? LOL. I figured he went to this tourney because it would be an easy win.
Daigo lost to RayRay and Lud? LOL. I figured he went to this tourney because it would be an easy win.

"Daigo lost for the people".Daigo is pretty much guaranteed to go to CPT finals already, so "easy win" probably had little to do with it. He's already in the top 10 rankings.
The Q&A, the exhibition, his stream live from NJ, the crowdfunding for the prize pot... Daigo was a major promotional element of this tourney, regardless of how well he did in the actual tourney.
He probably just wanted to promote the scene and provide hype...which he has.
If he just wanted "easy wins", there are plenty of closer ranking events in Asia he could have gone to.
Lol, lord infiltration is not going to give any free wins to anyone, that's for sure.that was the intention. it just wasn't the result
Infiltration will show Daigo how it's done at brooklyn beatdown
What has he been up to lately? I thought he took a twitter and streaming break to focus on SFV, but he hasn't been to any tournament, I believe.PR Rog retired from SFV, said he washed up

Everyone here is calm and in good state of mind. You even have Justin saying shit. He just won two tournaments and got 2nd at the Japanese tournament. People need to calm down.

I have never seen this guy get so animated, such a calm character every other time I've seen him. It seems he was told for a long time that he was no good in SF and now he beat the beast....Dang, with that explosion, he's about to burst into super saiyan mode. Could somebody put the yellow hair transformation on him, that'd be a good gif..I interviewed both Ludovic and RayRay after their Daigo wins. Videos are going up soon on FloKO.
Here's a little preview

Here we go with the Twitter non sense again.I mean the whole discussion. The guy isn't going to win everything. He's not Infil in SFV. I don't know why people are discussing his ECT performance to the point where people are questioning how good he is, not just here, but on twitter too.
He's had good results comparable to a lot of the best players in the top 10. He's just not had results like Tokido and Infil.
He has definitely popped off before:I have never seen this guy get so animated, such a calm character every other time I've seen him. Beating Wong in Marvel, Daigo in Street Fighter and making top 8 at EVO is a pretty good selection for pop-offsHe hasn't been shy to popoff. Beating Justin in Marvel, making top 8 at evo.
