Is there anything to suggest 1080p hdr is the reason why this isn't a noticeably *wow* effect? I recall people discussing 4k + hdr was the big deal.

I don't think resolution matters when displaying HDR content, since HDR only affects contrast, brightness and colors.
I really can't say what may be happening in my case.
I switched back and forth from the demo to the full game with HDR and I consistently felt that colors looked better in the demo and the full game looked washed out.
I do notice the HDR for example in the contrast between the backlights and the car and stuff like that, but man, I don't know, it does not feel "right" when comparing with how the demo looks.

Can confirm you can be invited into the club before the progression unlocks it, invites show up right after Horizon online unlocks.

Just to get my point across with what I mean when I say I am not happy with Forza's HDR, example in spoiler tags
LEft is HDR ON, Right is OFF. The difference when watching movies in HDR is as "drastic" as the difference you can see in the image I posted.
But with Forza, it isn't. So it feels... off, and washed out. Kinda more like this:
AS you can see, the second image, HDR there has better cotnrast, but looks kinda washed out... It isn't the best example, but it's the closest I can get.

I was of the belief the increased resolution adds more clarity to the extra colour detail HDR provides, making them compliment each other noticeably? Could be totally wrong about that!
I'll have to have a proper play around with it tonight. I was in a rush this morning when trying to notice the difference, so it'll be nice to have a proper play of the game (I was trying to repeat the intro sequence in hdr/non-hdr).

Just unlocked Level 3 of Byron Bay and that's when it dawns on you how much content there is.
Not only do new levels unlock new Routes/Exhibitions, but eventually those Exhibitions will have their championships unlocked.

This all sounds so good, but I still have so much to do in FH2. Is FH3 structured the same way? I'm okay if there are a lot of races, but the road trips got boring after the 2nd finale.

That said, I did notice a pretty impressive improvement when watching The Revenant.

Digital version comes with both the PC and Xbox One. Physical version only comes with a copy for the Xbox One.
The physical and digital ultimate edition comes with early access >.>
We bought the Ultimate edition in Windows store, so we get to play a few days sooner. You get both PC and Xbone versions, but ONLY with digital. You can only get the PC version that way. Physical Xbone versions ONLY include Xbone game.
But they only accept paypal.

From demo to retail the jump in color richness is insane. Playing on a 65 inch ks8000. The response time is perfect and did they increase the reflections?
Try a hard reset maybe? it happened to me with Destiny once
This is on PC. I was playing the game 20 hours ago and it had the same problem but I brushed it off thinking it'll fix itself later. Only just now am I starting to worry that they've actually fucked me over.
Who do I contact regarding this? Is there some windows store contact email or something?

Glad we're not alone! My Xbox is set to 8 bit on the colour settings, it did this automatically. But all the ticks are there for 4k and HDR in settings. Obviously when viewing settings it's not in HDR mode, so does this setting get overwritten when HDR software launches?
