This was filmed right before Söldner went on sale so we hadn't had this drama yet. Definitely would have touched on it otherwise.
Ok, makes a bit more sense. But there was the Octodad tie thingy for example, which was also somewhat of a learning moment for you, wasn't it? I mean, you've brought it up yourself a couple of times about how you didn't like that type of pre-order stuff.
And as I mentioned: the challenges, the deals that fell through (if there were any, apart from Yakuza) and how the perception among game devs/publishers of what you can do for them may have changed over the past year.
Anyway, LRG can only answer the questions that they get asked obviously. I feel like those YT guys could've made considerably more out of this. A documentary is usually a lot better if some of the hardships that have been overcome in the process of becoming who you are as a person/company/whatever are also shown. Now it's basically: we were running out of money and took a gamble. That's it. Meanwhile, there was so much more going on behind the scenes. From you guys learning the ropes of negotiating and being a publisher in general, to travelling to conventions to meet people, to Douglas working his arse of to get 1000s of packages out of the door in a timely manner.
