WaPo: Trump recorded bragging about his fame letting him violate women in 2005

Beck has been slowly gaining his sanity back. It's good to see that as he got older he actually changed some as opposed to most older folks that stay set in their ways.

glenn beck hasn't supported trump this entire election and it's because he feels he is not a true conservative and is playing the part out of lust for power. I doubt that's what you had in mind by changing with the years

I haven't been paying attention all weekend. Apparently NBC has footage of Trump using the N-word? Has that been released?

On the other hand, he's had some anti-conservative establishment run-ins like the tussle over Facebook that have been pretty interesting to watch.

A Morning Consult/Politico survey taken Saturday found Trump with 38 per cent support to Hillary Clinton's 42 per cent. Trump's down from the 41-39 deficit he had on October 5-6, just before the video surfaced October 7.

The poll found 45 per cent of voters said Trump should remain the race, while 39 per cent wanted him out. Only 12 per cent of Republicans said he should quit, despite increasing calls from party officials for him to leave. Trump has insisted he won't.

Seventy-five percent of Republicans said GOP leaders should stand by Trump.

A poll done on Saturday doesn't seem like enough time for the news to permeate and be understood by the average schmuck.

In fact, the Politico article says the same:
Operatives in both parties say they believe it will take several days — and Sunday night’s debate at Washington University in St. Louis — to have the video bake into the public consciousness.
I'd hold off on the despair or rejoicing either way.

Plus it isn't really core Republicans that these tapes will alienate, its handful of idiots who are still undecided.
Right, you would hope that this would sway the undecideds and the independents who broke for Trump. I still think there's a fair potential for further fallout among certain moderate and Evangelical Republican circles too, but we need a few more days.
It took 3-4 days before we started seeing the fallout of the fainting spell for Clinton. These things take time.
Yep.

Fair. But he's not wrong and he's still going against the grain.

It's next week that really matters. Especially since there's inevitably going to be more gaffes. Trump will probably fuck up even 2-3 days before we actually vote.

more oppo is coming too.

Yeah, exactly. That's the irony of the "this won't be the end" takes. It won't be, but not in the way Trump-supporting pundits are hoping. It's not the end in the sense that there will continue to be a new controversy every week until we vote.

We can't even reliably say this is the worst of it given the oppo talk. I mean, it's clearly not!

Is there a thread dedicated to Wikileaks' publication of Hillary's speech transcripts? From what I've read, they seem to be more significant than this Trump story in the sense that they could have had a greater impact on the Dem primaries than the GOP one.

Just grab em by the pussy

Trumps walkout song be like:

It's kind of hilarious how positions on trade and borders that have been held by Presidents on both sides since Kennedy is controversial in 2016 during the primaries.

You can laugh all you want about what's going on in the GOP but the Dems are not far behind it seems.

Not big enough to distract from the GOP meltdown

Holy shit that subreddit is terrible.

It's hilarious in its stupidity, it's a bizzarro world.

Some redditor said:
It's actually funny that they're using the same arguments we have used against hillary. Plenty have said hillary could shoot someone on camera and her voters wouldn't bat an eye and the article is saying the inverse, that trump could do it and we wouldn't.

I don't understand why this is what people think will stop him. Surely his views on race, foreign policy, war etc is much worse than this.

If people supported him with all of that why is some groping and bragging his downfall? It's bad but not nearly as bad as running America with those ideologies.

I'm a Brit so just find it puzzling.

Welcome to dog-whistle politics in American elections. So long as you don't say it outright and just use codewords (welfare queens, drug tests for welfare recipients, voter ID laws),you get the benefit of the doubt.

Who is the blonde in that video pressing Kurt Schlicter?

I saw something to the effect of this on Reddit:

"It's like the media woke up from a fevered dream with a dead hooker in their bed and finally decided to do something about it rather than cuddle."

If the media had pressed these types and the candidates themselves like this, Trump would have withered on the vine.

Trump at one point compared himself directly to Bill Clinton, telling CNBC in 1998, “Can you imagine how controversial I’d be? You think about him with the women. How about me with the women? Can you imagine?”

Oh I think we can now.

Wow what a great article. I love how the crazies refuse to give their names lol. Here's an example of insane:

“I could care less about those tapes, because when men get together and they’re all alone and they’re talking about themselves, they say a lot of things just to impress one another. That doesn’t bother me in the very least,” said Kathy Serra, who came in from the Jersey shore in a fluorescent yellow anorak and a camo Make America Great Again cap. “He was bragging, just like the other men. I’ve heard it all before. Listen, I’d rather have a man like Trump be president than a criminal like Hillary Clinton!” Why is Clinton a criminal? “She sold uranium to Russia! I mean, that’s what you use to make nuclear bombs!” Serra said.

They are fucking crazy. I also love how the article ends:

[Just past him, the man dressed as the penis saw that he was no longer attracting any attention. He threw up his hands in boredom, and wandered off into the rainy night

"A 17-year-old who has been volunteering for the Trump campaign, and who also didn’t want his name used, was explaining to a bystander that Trump’s comments weren’t predatory because they let him do it because he’s a star, and that is a form of consent."

"Carlos Giron, a Guatemalan immigrant, stood with a rain-soaked Trump sign, and made a good show of defending his candidate. “I think this is a typical thing that playboy millionaires do,” Giron said. “We all knew what we were getting with him, we all knew he was an eccentric billionaire."

Sigh.

He hadn’t heard about Friday’s tape, and, after hearing a brief summary, his face stretched into disbelief. He looked away, seeming pained. After a moment, he said, “The Bible says, ‘All men are sinners.’” He looked at the shiny Trump Tower lobby just on the other side of the doors. “You know, they say Trump is a racist, but if he was a racist, why would he have these, these, these people working here?” He gestured with one crooked hand at two black security guards. He shook his head. “They’ll dig up everything!”

Corey is failing so hard right now on CNN.

I can't respond to something that I don't know if it happened.

I guess he needs to witness it first hand before he forms an opinion.

God, I can't wait to see r/the_Donald when he loses, it's going to be amazing.

I'm specifically trying to avoid a ban over there so I can rub it in their faces after she wins. Yeah, it's childish of me but those morons don't deserve any better.
