Really not a fan of Sinai Desert and Empires Edge. Way too much sniping.

Ballroom Blitz is great fun though, probably my favorite right now.

Vulkan isn't made by AMD / DICE. AMD / DICE developed Mantle and MS developed DX12. Vulkan is developed by Khronos Group with some contributions from AMD. Afaik Khronos Group is also ones developing and maintaining OpenGL.

DICE/AMD->Mantle(MS notices they're doing this)->Vulkan
Split arrow at Mantle->MS trying to copy with DX12.

AMD being a sponsor of Mantle/Vulkan means their cards are able to do things that DX12 promised to do muuuuch easier due to that.

I will be super pissed if they removed it all of sudden, it was turned on in the early ea acess trial period (i used up all 10 hours before they unlocked the rest of the maps) It was the reason I finally went PC over console since I was actually able to have fun with a controller. Gah I might even ask for a refund if they got rid of it :/

Got to play on 3 of the newer maps before my origin access trial time expired, Argonne, Ballroom Blitz, and Empires Edge. I loved them all, man this game is just too good.

Again why did no one tell me the new maps at launch would be accessible through the trial version. Damn I may just make a new Origin account and pay another $5 to play until Friday.

Afaik Vulkan started as its own project, but thanks to co-op with Mantle was able to use parts of it as foundation. That doesn't mean DICE / AMD somehow created Vulkan when totally different group is developing Vulkan.

So what are the benefits of the deluxe version, I'm trying to rationalize paying $40 more than buying the game on G2A and waiting.

Great thread OT! Had so much fun with this game through the EA Access 10 hour trial! Can't wait for the real thing later this week!

Wait a minute. I could get Origin Access now and play 10h before Friday? I thought EA Access thing would only be possible until tomorrow?

I think the trial will always be available to EA/Origin Access subscribers until the full game goes into the vault.

I've officially used up my early access time right in the middle of a match and we were winning and I've lost like 9 straight fml.

I'm getting better though lol! Was on a rampage with the bomber. I have always sucked at flying and getting kills in the air in BF games, but goddamn, was on a major kill streak in the last game.

Also, I'm calling it, this is best looking game I've ever seen

How did you access these maps? Do you know if they are available in the console early access? I haven't run into them.

Does anybody have any suggestions control settings for the Xbox One? It feels too 'loose' by default, of that makes any sense.

Just joined it, bit roomy with just the 2 of us! Good choice of background, not in any other communities so not really sure what else could be added.

I can't believe Dice.... you did it again.

Against my mind, I pre-ordered... and now after seing a bunch of reviews and positive feedback, I upgraded my pre-order to early enlisted.

The positive feedback on the campaing made my mind. I want to play the SP first as an early game and go for the full launch playing online.

BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol I ended up playing Gears all weekend so I have 6 hours left on the trial, the game unlocks for me in 4 hours so thats a win. :D
