BEYONCÉ RETURNS: POPGAF OT XIII

Both have history of violence and drama queens. Siding with Crowe cause he white? 👀

1. You're jumping to conclusions
2. Azealia is a compulsive liar, attention whore and overall despicable bigotted human being who doesn't deserve any sympathy
3. TMZ is already reporting that she's lying and the witnesses are corroborating - even the friend that brought her to the party is saying she's lying

What I wanna know is what the hell was Crowe doing with Azalia? He's a big and old Hollywood star who starred in one of the year's most acclaimed movies (pre-Oscar season). Why would he be hanging out with a D-list singer who burnt all of her bridges and is basically only known for starting shit and vitriol hate crap on twitter.

And yes, I think it's fair to side with him given her past and her trademark of desperately making controversy to get attention.

Dancin' in Circles is the sister to Alejandro I've been begging for for years.

It was a party Crowe was hosting, and Banks was RZA's +1. It's all in the article.

dont be a pitster, be a touchdown!

also mess @ joanne not being a trainwreck.

it's very uneven tho. songs 1, 3, 5 are good. 2 and 4 are bad/mediocre.

6 is perfect illusion so w/e and million reasons at 7 is meh.

still listening

Not too much on poor Touched in the headDown, thinking isn't his strong suit

But speaking of Mariah it seems her ex-latin lover Luis Miguel is having a rough patch as of late... can't say I care too much about it but since the news broke you can hear his washed out hits in almost every store in my city all day.

Getting those posthumous Michael Jackson styled coins without being actually dead.

Okay, done with the first listen. Too lazy to write a full review, so here's the short version:

Diamond Heart - It's not as bad as I made it out to be at first, but for some reason it's just really forgettable. Like, I listened to it 2 mode times, and I still can't remeber how the chorus goes.

A-YO, A-YO - O-NO, O-NO

Joanne - Kinda cliché imo

John Wayne - Catchy chorus, nice production.

Dancin' in Circles - A bop, and probably the best song by far.

Sinner's Prayer - Surprisingly pleasant, and at least there's not a lot of screaming thank god

Come To Mama - Kinda serving 90's corny movie/sitcom tbh

Hey Girl - I like it quite a bit, but Gaga needs to stop trying iT with the high notes in the chorus. Also, the instrumental is amazing and I want it now.

Angel Down - It's a Gag Ballad (TM) and I like most of them so I like this one too.

In conclusion, just like ChartDrop, there's an excellent EP in there, but the ones that aren't great really bring the whole thing down. For now, 6,5/10
, and release the instrumentals asap bitch

Diamond Heart - Not sure that I entirely get it? The verses kinda struggle to find themselves but I really enjoyed the chorus and found it be quite catchy. She's had better openers than this. Not terrible though. 7/10

A-Yo - I found this to be fun. Kind of reminds me of Shake it Off but a little bit more country and rock elements added to it? Found it better than Diamond Heart. 8/10

Joanne - Her vocals are a little Shania-esque here. I like the lyrics for this song and the little vocal inflections she made for it. 8.5/10

John Wayne - The most diverse and different song by her on this album. It's an obvious standout and I'd say one of the best songs she has made in a long time. I wish more of Joanne (the album) sounded like this. Enjoyable through and through. 10/10

Dancin' in Circles - The Alejandro redux I have been asking for for years now. This should be the next single, since frankly, nothing else on Joanne is radio friendly. It's fun and endlessly danceable. A highlight for sure. 10/10

Perfect Illusion - It's still good. I like it but in the context of the album, it feels like it was kinda tacked on and thrown into the middle of the album. Doesn't follow DIC well nor does MR follow it well afterwords. I think the album version is mixed a little differently than the single version? 7.5/10

Million Reasons - It's nice that Gaga's albums don't suck this go around. I've always liked this song since it came out but I think there are even stronger ballads than this one. The harmonies are good. It doesn't stand out as much as I thought it would but enjoyable. 8/10

Sinner's Prayer - I don't think this will be among most people's favorites but I enjoyed it greatly. Lyrics were the standout part of the song. 9/10

Come to Mama - Lady Gaga meets retro 50s and 60s is a bit strange. I really do not know if I love it or hate it. Polarizing for sure. I'll have to come back to this one later because I'm just really not sure on how I feel about it. 7/10

Hey Girl - Disappointing. I expected more. Not bad but it's nothing. 5/10

Angel Down - Not the best song to end the album on. Didn't really connect to it. 6/10

just finished joanne fully for the first time

it's much better than i expected. it has some duds, some mehs, but it has some good songs too.

Dancing in Circles' chorus sounds like something BTW Lana would sing.
ngl, I hear BTD and UV influences. Kinda crazy that Gaga worked with all of these people that Lana is friends with and then do a collab with Florence. Love that they are friends now though. 2016 is the year of the unshackled artisté.

so first listen through John Wayne is the best track, by far. I actually really enjoy it. I kind of like Come to Mama, I'm not sure why lol. It reminds me of build me up buttercup lol. I enjoy Angel Down too, RedOne probably did a better job producing it tho

Dancin in Circles might grow on me...but other than that...yea not feeling it. I hope it grows on me because if not :/

There's absolutely nothing redeeming about the misguided, cynical, sheer bankruptcy of an album that is Joanne. I'm appalled.

BONUS CACKLE @ gaga being embarrassed yet again by releasing in close proximity to a Knowles sister who captured the subdued, alternative sound much better than this fad could ever be capable of pushing out.

Hopefully the little monsters get a better album thats not 11 songs long with most of them being around ~3 minutes long in 4 years when Gaga decides to work on a new album inspired by Corridos
