No versus mode.Is vs mode in this game yet? Can I go head to head with my brother on drums locally?
No versus mode.
No plans for a head-to-head competitive mode like the old Face-Off modes at this time for that matter.
Also, acceptance into the PS4 Crew is limited to the 10 that are in the OP at this time. I'm sorry to you lurkers that keep requesting access, but they get first dibs. If you want to make another Crew you're more than welcome to, I'll add it to the OP.

Ooh, wonder what else has changed drastically. Dawn Patrol for Guitar was on the list of updates/leaderboard wipes, but it doesn't have any guitar.Unlikely to ever come back, it was used less than online mode. Which was at 2% of the userbase already. It's been gone since RB3.
also TTFAF got a difficulty buff in the outro:

edit: someone made a vid already

Just so I'm clear, none of the Wii RB3 instruments work with RB4, right? Except for the mic, I guess.
Yeah I got a few requests aswell, but I dunno if it was just randoms or lurkers.
Put me on the list to join a crew! Xbox One!
I play Rockband ALOT...
Is Rivals available on Xbox yet?
How do I actually join the crew that's being set up?

Downloading now and will probably get on tomorrow. I thought it'd be a separate download and not a patch on the original game, so I guess the Xbox decided not to to automatically download it. 10 gigs!Yes it's up on xbox.
To join the crew go to Rivals under career, and join GAF 'A' Sides.
I can only invite people that have played RB who own the expansion.
I just finished the Rockudrama and I won't lie I thought it was gonna be a trainwreck but it was actually kinda funny.

How long is it?
Man, they went ham with the venues, so many new ones!
I'll gladly set up a new crew if we get more folks to join. Just let me know. Also what should it be called? Just let me know.
The Amazon Video Games team thanks you for purchasing "Rock Band Rivals" for Xbox One. Your purchase has qualified you for 10 downloadable tracks playable in Rock Band Rivals.
Remind me about how the PS4 infrastructure works. I'm probably going to get the bundle with the game and Rivals as I play it that often on and off, it'd be worth diving in. I know that I have to download the game and all the updates again, even though I already have the base game on my hard drive. But would I have to download all my DLC again as well? The DLC has come from a number of accounts over the years so it'd be a bit of a hassle, plus I do actually want to play the game sometime this week.
Yeaaaaaa boiiiii downloading now. Everything's there! Can't say I expected that from SCEE.
My heart sank for a moment, because since I'm going digital, I deleted my old install, and for a moment there I thought it deleted all DLC as well (because the store says RB4 is something like 4gb). But Gay Bar and all the other stuff is still there.
From the first page:
WAITThanks, I missed that. Looks like I'm buying it now.
Did you delete the game beforehand? I've still got it on my PS4, it might just simply replace the existing game files without deleting them.WAIT
Sorry for the confusion, but I just fired it up for the first time, seems like I DO have to re-download all my DLC I dunno, they show as downloaded in the Add-Ons menu, but in Quickplay I just have the 10 bonus tracks. That's my afternoon gone (
And goodbye Gay Bar I guess ((
Yeah, the idiot I am, I deleted it beforehand. I don't know if the digital version just overwrites the existing install, but it's worth a try I guess.Did you delete the game beforehand? I've still got it on my PS4, it might just simply replace the existing game files without deleting them.

And MY GOD you'd think there's a "download all" button for like 700 items.......
Pro-tip: If you have tons of songs with "Love" in the title you can press Orange on the "Weekly Challenge" menu that shows the spotlight songs to go to a customized "Weekly Challenge Music Library" playlist showing only songs with "Love" in the name! Looks like our teams can earn more points that way too!
I think mine is something like 125/60. You're on the right track, the numbers are way different than what I had with the older games, but I'm sure that has to do with being on a new system and using a new engine.Could someone who has calibrated both RB3 and RB4 perfectly please post their calibration numbers for both games? It would help me as I just got the game and the 35/35 numbers I used in RB3 (on PS3) aren't any good, around 120/120 feels like 35/35 on RB3 on the same TV but it's not quite right.
I know I can't use the same numbers as someone else since our setups are different but if I knew exactly how much more someone needed to add for RB4 on the same TV they played RB3 on it would shorten the tedious calibration process for me a lot as I could add just as much.

I think it's around +90/+30 from my RB3 setup, but I can't say for sure. I'll check the numbers when I get off work this evening. The numbers are different but what I'm hoping to find out is how different exactly, compared to RB3 on the same setup. +50 for video and +30 for audio for example. It's not going to be easy to get it just right. And you need it just right to hit the hard stuff...
