Is the in-game psn store/marketplace down for everyone else?
No versus mode.
No plans for a head-to-head competitive mode like the old Face-Off modes at this time for that matter.
Also, acceptance into the PS4 Crew is limited to the 10 that are in the OP at this time. I'm sorry to you lurkers that keep requesting access, but they get first dibs. If you want to make another Crew you're more than welcome to, I'll add it to the OP.

Unlikely to ever come back, it was used less than online mode. Which was at 2% of the userbase already. It's been gone since RB3.

Yes, Rivals is out for both systems.
As for crews, there are already two filled on Xbox One. I don't believe anyone has started up a third yet, so you're more than welcome start it up yourselves! I'll add it to the OP if you choose to do so.

To join the crew go to Rivals under career, and join GAF 'A' Sides.
I can only invite people that have played RB who own the expansion.
Could someone who has calibrated both RB3 and RB4 perfectly please post their calibration numbers for both games? It would help me as I just got the game and the 35/35 numbers I used in RB3 (on PS3) aren't any good, around 120/120 feels like 35/35 on RB3 on the same TV but it's not quite right.
I know I can't use the same numbers as someone else since our setups are different but if I knew exactly how much more someone needed to add for RB4 on the same TV they played RB3 on it would shorten the tedious calibration process for me a lot as I could add just as much.

Downloading now and will probably get on tomorrow. I thought it'd be a separate download and not a patch on the original game, so I guess the Xbox decided not to to automatically download it. 10 gigs!

I just finished the Rockudrama and I won't lie I thought it was gonna be a trainwreck but it was actually kinda funny.

The first three acts all have 3 setlists of 3 songs and the final act is one set list of 3 but you pick the songs on all of them unless you go for the bonus opportunities.

Remind me about how the PS4 infrastructure works. I'm probably going to get the bundle with the game and Rivals as I play it that often on and off, it'd be worth diving in. I know that I have to download the game and all the updates again, even though I already have the base game on my hard drive. But would I have to download all my DLC again as well? The DLC has come from a number of accounts over the years so it'd be a bit of a hassle, plus I do actually want to play the game sometime this week.

Yeah, the idiot I am, I deleted it beforehand. I don't know if the digital version just overwrites the existing install, but it's worth a try I guess.
And MY GOD you'd think there's a "download all" button for like 700 items.......

Anyway, managed to play a bit before I had to leave for work. Pretty cool, I love the new interface.
So concflicted on this. I want the pre-order songs and I want more RB but I'm still so annoyed at the whole SCEE situation. Just checked my list and I'm still waiting on 239 songs I can't download yet and we're 12 months in. Pretty much accepting at this point that we'll never get what we were promised. Feel like I shouldn't reward HMX with my business when their communication on these issues has left a lot to be desired but then I'm just cutting my own nose off to spite my face

We'll see what happens when I get home from work. Assuming my brother actually turned on my PS4 while he was at home to let it download, that is. Hopefully it'll be fine, thanks to there being folders we'll be able to see whether Rock Band gets shoved up front or remains where it was, or what's changed or whatever.
In other news, the PS Blog has updated and, no surprise, there's no mention of RB4 DLC, or even that there's a bundle up.

This is excellent and somewhat of a hidden aspect of the challenges. Really helps mid level players contribute if they have a bunch of DLC and encourages playing many different songs you might not otherwise, depending on the challenge each week.
I think mine is something like 125/60. You're on the right track, the numbers are way different than what I had with the older games, but I'm sure that has to do with being on a new system and using a new engine.
The numbers are different but what I'm hoping to find out is how different exactly, compared to RB3 on the same setup. +50 for video and +30 for audio for example. It's not going to be easy to get it just right. And you need it just right to hit the hard stuff...

I think it's around +90/+30 from my RB3 setup, but I can't say for sure. I'll check the numbers when I get off work this evening.

Amazon is now showing out of stock on the PS4 guitar bundle and the ship date on my preorder has been pushed back from today to 10/28.
