I'm sure it will. I dunno what there will be to say about it - I'm not sure most of us closely follow or care about internet or political drama that much. It may bring up the larger topic someone tweeted to us regarding whether or not we take political or personal affiliations into account when making purchasing decisions.

Probably just an unintentional slip up. They talked about how good the graphics look.

I sympathize though. Not P1P-related, but I get hung up on people calling Dragon Quest 8 on 3DS a port when, despite some graphical compromises, it is also a remake, with new playable characters, new endings, new stuff.

Ethan is fine most of the time. But he needs to stay away from mentioning game endings. He can't seem to control himself from outright spoiling them. I felt bad for Kevin and Greg when he spoiled Shenmue 2 for them without a warning. I mean, maybe ask next time.

He almost spoiled MGSV ending for Greg in the ep I'm listening to. C'mon dude.

I really like Ethan, even though his (and Kevins) obsession with the Vita is a bit much at times. He makes good points, and he is funny. What more do you need?

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Ethan is great dont get the hate - he already apologized for spoiling a 15 year old game and i thought everyone moved on.

Ethan is great and Shenmue is garbage. It took a few episodes for him to grow on me, but I love Ethan's very dry wisecracking, and (NSFW) ways.

I was catching up and heard him apologize later about spoiling stuff. So hopefully it doesn't happen again. I like Ethan too but that doesn't make him immune to my criticisms. What you think of the game(s) he spoils is irrevelant to me.

i really enjoyed the psvr talk cuz it helped me affirm my decision to cancel my preorder as well. the only thing i'm interested in is rez and it's not worth $400 to replay something i've beat multiple times. thanks cj!

Whoa, no. So, I don't support Palmer's actions w/regard to funding a hate group. I thought that was clear on the show but maybe not.

But I am not rejecting Oculus - I don't hold the actions of one person against their product or the company as a whole. I don't check every business or the executives therein whose products I buy to make sure they share my personal values/beliefs. (There are some exceptions, but it's exceedingly rare.)

Personally, the Palmer Luckey news doesn't sway me one way or the other whether or not to buy/support/whatever the Oculus Rift. It's more about how compelling that product is to me.

Anyway, Greg mentioned Extra Life, so I'll post a link to it here. It's a lot of fun to watch, and more fun to donate!

November 19th - Playing With Power!
The main marathon this year will take place on the Retrovision AVS coupled with an Everdrive N8. What does that mean to you? It means that when you make a $30 donation to reserve an hour this year, you get to pick any NES/Famicom/Famicom Disk System game for me to play!

Now, I remember last year, or maybe two years ago, you had a list of NES games. Should we go by that if we want to donate to have you play a game? I can't find that list. Any games on that list you want to remove? I remember Roger Rabbit not going well.

I'm planning on using an everdrive this year, so I should be good to go with any NES/Famicom/(most)FDS image.

What happened to the audio?

Kevin's audio was mono for some reason. Very strange and annoying on headphones as I only get one channel audio when Kevin spoke.

Greg said he will fix it tonight after work. Just needs to reexport it with the fixed channels.

Hey everyone.

Greg was smashed with work and other stuff so I think he missed one step or two in the editing process. I took the file from this week and at least made it mono. Still some balance stuff, but at least I come out of both channels.

You can delete your current file and redownload to get the new version. Mistakes happen. :)

Thank you for always being cool about it.

Absolutely great VR talk from Greg & Ethan this week. The more I hear about the Playstation VR experiences, the more I'm convinced it's right up my alley with a bunch of shorter, less expensive games that offer something different & new. I'm still going to get the PS4 Pro first, but I'll probably go in for VR before year-end too, especially with Resident Evil 7 releasing not long after.
