what. No such people exist

Thought the same thing. I can't comprehense there would be people in the world who are oblivious to this part of TV history.

Their films and they themselves are cult classics, even religion-like here in Germany. I grew up with all of their films. Instantly funded, thanks for the notice, OP. Game looks carefully designed and nostalgic. Love it.

Oooooooh.

Will watch the pitch later on when I'm not on mobile.

Potential-wise, this could be awesome. Especially if they manage to add a stretchgoal for an authentic German "localisation". Because that's a must. At least for us Krauts, I mean.

Spritework could need some tweaks I think. The characters blend too well into the background for my liking. Maybe futz around with the palette, or something.

They also featured in spaghetti Westerns. Bud Spencer was also an olympic medal swimmer

T. Hill's best role is in the film March or Die with G. Hackman

Bud Spencer (RIP) was also successful in solo movies. His movie Al Addin must have been the first I saw in cinemas as a kid. His movie Banana Joe is the most known comedy.

Terence Hill had also a nice comedy where he got super powers that would be erased when he saw anything of red color

Better late than never

That's pretty fantastic. I like the style too!

And they already have the license (not a given these days).
Hopefully it reaches the stretch goal for the OST.

They have the license obviously, it's clearly stated in the KS and the Bud Spencer's official facebook is sharing it.

Yep, that's what I said :p
There are so many Kickstarters without that it's become the first thing that I check for.

I've read the word "hopefully" on the row above lol.

It's great to know that Bud has seen and has approved the game but it would have be much better if he was able to be here playing it on release in 2017

Hell yeah, if I was a billionaire I would fund a Bud Spencer & Terence Hill God Hand clone or a Bud Spencer Mussou game. No action movie has ever replicated the weight of Bud Spencer's slaps and hammer strikes. Even my 9 year old nephew who has watched some super-hero-movies loves Bud Spencer. R.I.P

Are their movies famous in Sweden? Hopefully Notch has seen one :D

Was hoping this would be a 3d brawler... will still buy it if it makes the kickstarter. Kinda shocking they never had a game in the past (or I missed them?), their movies lend themselves to comedy brawlers/side scrolling beat em ups perfectly.

This needs to get more attention. these guys are gods, their movies are still amazing and I am backing this right now ( and you should too if you don't know how great these guys are, go watch their movies they are brilliant)

I'm from continental Europe (Netherlands) and I've never heard of them. There's more to us than just Germany you know.

That said, this looks really good.

AFAIK, they're mostly popular in Germany (and Austria) and Hungary. I'm Hungarian so I've seen many of their movies dozens of times :-D We had really awesome dubs and super funny translations too (by stage actors), and the guy who was the voice of Bud Spencer looked pretty much exactly the same as him and even made movies that were pretty much Hungarian versions of Bud Spencer/Terence Hill movies. And btw, they just started showing their films in cinemas again!

I'm Hungarian, and Germany and Hungary are their biggest fans :-D During my childhood, we saw their movies on the Austrian TV many times (they were the only occasion I was allowed to be up past 8PM while in primary school) and my brother (who went to school in Austria) knows a lot of the German and Hungarian dubs by heart :-D And he's not alone!

Best movies (certainly with Hungarian dub - I saw them in German, English and Hungarian) are Double Trouble and Go For It. Watch Out, We're Mad is not as good and Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure is clearly historically inaccurate.

I didn't know I wanted this.

I rented their movies on VHS as a kid, they were always good fun.

I don't know how but this must be in the game

There was a game released in 1997 in at least Germany and Italy developed by Simulmondo.
I've never known heard about it until today

They are huge in Italy as well. I don't know how huge are them in Latin America but I've often seen many latin americans know about the movies, many of them are even shot there although the best one is Banana Joe that only features Bud.

For years people have called me Bud Spencer just because I... Well I kinda did look like him or a brown version and I adored the movies so of course I'm backing it.

Too bad there's no PS4 version (yet), my PC is probably not capable of running this.
That said, I'll back it for sure, I like the aesthetic and being Italian I don't need to type my love for the actors and movies.

These days consoles versions of successful indie titles are likely to exist.
With a kickstarter that kind, can accompany only![cit. only italians can understand]

That duo makes a lot of sense for a game... with one character agile enough to climb on stuff, and another strong enough to smash obstacles or major opponents.
I loved their western movies. The "bean eating scenes" were always my favourites. They make simple beans and bread look so delicious.

Huge, their movies got theatrical release, my dad used to take me their movies we both loved watching them. reruns on TV of their movies was also common and always popular.

Everybody knows them here in Switzerland.
Those guys were my childhood heroes. Fantastic German localisation is what knocked it out of the park.
