Until further details emerge, I will not mention this again, but get real, this could be a terribly sad example of how divisive and negative this shit has been and is worthy of another mention as the thread is moving so fast.

My dad insists he's a moderate, but his economic views are really conservative. Socially I think he actually is in the center, but I've heard him express a healthy amount of privilege in recent years.
He's not voting for Trump, though.
Those are some pretty scary numbers...but then again, this shebang has only just begun.

Too early to call, likely because the urban areas that are Clinton-leaning take longer to poll.
So I had a pretty good feel good moment when voting today.
The polling station I go to is ran by older women probably all 50+ and they're the sweetest. The one that gave me the sticker stopped and said "You have the most beautiful eyes." I've had people say that to me before and every time it makes my day. I tell her thank you and go into the booth to vote.
As I walk out of the booth and head to the door to leave another lady at t he table stops me and tells me to come to her and answer a question she has. I walk over and she says "One of the ladies here, and I won't say who, said you had beautiful eyes and I just wanted to see if she was right."
From there the 5 or 6 ladies there walk up to me starting to compliment me on my eyes. It was a real feel good moment especially after feeling pretty crappy lately. Although it did start to get weird when they asked if I was single and one of them told me their 16yo granddaughter was available. All I could say in my head was "You just my ID. You know my age(20). That's probably not going to work out at the moment."

Shes been skewing ahead in polls and all the noise seems to at least reinforce that - not hearing much against it. But still a bit early.

Personally I expect isolated disturbances and vandalism but nothing major. I really doubt riots, unless of course Trump specifically instructs people to riot. I wish I could say there's no chance he'd do that but who the hell knows with this guy
