People are equating Hillary not conceding the night of the election with trump?

Trump who was claiming a rigged election the whole time . That he's going to jail Hillary. That she's going to be shot if she wins. That all hell will break lose. Etc. Etc. Etc.

I wonder how we got here but people adhering so easily to this false equivalency sort of answers that question. Every thing she's done that hasn't been perfect is two times as worse as trump doing those things with a smile on his face.

Welp. Here we are.

Imagine spending your whole life serving the country in some capacity or another. You wanted the make it a better place for all people. And then a con man swindles the country with a campaign of hate and intolerance. If that's not demoralizing and core shaking, I don't know what it is.

What does respect their choice mean? Don't disagree with, pfft. People aren't going to overthrow the government over the result so the least we can do is complain when a fascist demagogue is elected President of the US.

I don't think a lesson will be learned at all. The DNC and establishment will blame Bernie and third parties instead of themselves.

Did you miss the part where he goes in on Trump for 15 minutes? He called Clinton a shitty politician but he is in no way supporting Trump.

As expected. Hillary showing her true colors. I voted for her but I am not the least bit surprised how this all turned out.

I fear for the future even though I am well prepped for w/e is to come. Feel bad for Sanders seeing this garbage.

I don't see the big deal about not conceding. She just wants to wait for all the votes to come in to be 100% sure.

The impression I got from Trump was that even after the votes, he may or may not accept the outcome. Could be wrong though

Stop with this. Sanders would not have built his platform on any of the values that would win over racists, homophobes, or xenophobes. He wouldn't have lied to blue collar workers that he'll get their jobs back. He wouldn't have been able to tap into a demographic who hates the institution the way Trump's base does.

This is indicative of something much larger taking place everywhere on the globe, because of decades upon decades of jobs' destructions, stagnating incomes, increased inequalities, and, above all, a total mistrust of the political "elite" that has proved to be a weak, malleable, corruptible and oblivious-to-the-common-man's issues' machine. I blame the liberals, partly, especially the media (Hollywood, magazines, commentators, TV hosts and other forums) for glossing over those real problems in favour of more societal things that only affect a fringe of the population, and which should have taken a backseat to social problems.

France is living the same ordeal, and there is no doubt in my mind that the extreme right is going to win the next elections. For years and years, the French media-machine turned a blind eye to the agonizing situations of famers and rural people; ridiculed those millions who dared to speak up against the irrational immigration policy...now, who's laughing?

The left is a joke. It renounced its ideals for cosmetics and trivial issues. It is paying the price dearly and, honestly, it deserves it.

She didn't have to give a concession speech, but she should've been the one to go up there and tell her supporters that it's too close to call at the moment.

Shitty thing not to address the people there directly and instead send Podesta to play messenger. If she looked at a single frame of that livestream, she'd know that they need her to say something.

Anything.
