I watched the stream last night...

This guy was drunk as fuck, and he continously, freaked out over the 100$+ he got during that stream (like 5 times).

He was also constantly scared that his stream would be shut down over the stuff his donors asked him to do (for example getting naked).

I haven't watched the video but I assume it was just the part where he showed off the "Switch".

Funnily enough, the stream did get shut down shortly after he did that hahaha

What's even more funny is that the stream did start out decently with him discussing politics and everything. But as more and more people came in, the whole thing got more and more out of hand.

At one point he was even about to deliver the nutsack sandwich!

(for those who don't know: Etika was so damn sure that Ridley would get in Smash that he promised to chop off his balls and make a sandwich out of them if it didn't happen)


So yeah, those yelling that he did that for attention don't know what happen. It was part of his slow descent to pure insanity in his stream.

It was fascinating to watch.

I'm pretty sure they used the actual console for that trailer, not models.

Unless you just meant that they're not actually functional, in which case that's a possibility.

Printed and finished. It's really not that hard to do these days and since the Switch is a fairly simple form factor, you don't need to do a lot of work to make a visual prototype.

That's a beautiful fake. This may sound stupid, but I'd probably pay a couple hundred bucks for just that fake.

When I was in high school (like 12 years ago) and heard about Nintendo DS, I made a bunch of mock ups based on images that surfaced and used to pretend they were real. I may be old now, but I still totally want to do that with that fake Switch lol.

Here'a the real question, though... If that really is a 3D print, shouldn't there be a 3D file of it floating around online somewhere? Unless you guys are suggesting that this Youtuber perfectly modeled the Switch himself and then printed it.

Also, how was he able to get the logo perfectly shiny in the image above? I don't know a ton about 3D printing, but that would seem really difficult.

he probably used some donation money and figured he would get a pretty big increase in views and money in order to make it worth it

He probably knows an artist with a 3D printer, and he either commissioned them to make it for him, or they gave it to him as a gift.

I get the feeling whoever made it isn't gonna start selling these things. I feel like that could end up being illegal in some way later on down the line.

him deleting the stream isn't gonna stop this from getting around the web, the info is already out and people are talking about

people are gonna tune into his next stream or youtube video (what ever he does next) and ask about it
