Well it's better than Sony pretending this IP doesn't exist at least. Wipeout HD/Fury/2048 was the franchise at its absolute best, so this is nice.

No VR? Wipeout is basically made for VR roller coaster experience.

I assume it would be a pukefest.

Clever Beans has some SCE London roots, and EPOS worked with Sony before, so its former Wipeout and Crash Commando staffers working on this with XDEV. Not sure what the division of labor is, but there's some good clout behind it.
