There's no way he is not OP. Why bother with him otherwise as a high profile unit, when Onion Knight is now the new hotness?
He will have his awakenings locked off in Global to keep him from completely destroying the game. But in JP, I'm expecting him to be at worst equal to Onion Knight, and **if** he brings the advent of 7*s, then he will annihilate everything in existence to date in the game.

I still haven't touched any of the story lapis outside of the 2nd half of the newest island I will probably wait for Orlandu and go through it all the week before in prep. I also still haven't touched any of it in the vortex outside of Gil Snapper/Cactuar Dunes and limited events.

yes exactly. i have some story lapis from the new unlocked sections and Earth Shrine (obv). But otherwise $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in the bank that if it were in my account I'd spend it right now.

Kind of regretting that I didn't buy some Lapis during the Black Friday sale. Any idea if they'll do similar for Christmas?
I think I learned my lesson about 10+1 pulls (even though I BADLY want Gilgamesh) but I want a nice stock to keep doing dailies and increase my slots, as well as NRG refills for TM farming.

I really hope he is. I am really enjoying FFXV and would like to use him in my FFBE party as long as he's not a huge hindrance. I mean as long as his equipment variety is good (it should be) and he has some attack passives and a good single target attack, he'd be no worse than the 5* base units I have. If he gets something crazy, then it's even better.
I can live with that.

I have six Lockes. Five make up my Locke Material Farming team. I just got another a couple days ago in a daily. Although, their TMs are only in the teens...

I've been keeping track of how many times I go first in arena for the last 30 orbs. I've gone first 8 times. I have the worst luck on this kind of stuff.
I also want to track how many times I get 2 turns in a row when going 2nd because I swear it's very low, but my enemy gets it almost every time I go first.

I'm kinda surprised a mobile game with as little server-side processing like this game requires such frequent maintenance. Hopefully they're actually working on the bugs or doing extensive testing after a patch so we don't get that infinite arena thing again.

Someone on Reddit did some calculations for Garland at 6* here and it looks like he is still beast material. Whelp looks like my 5 Bartz are on my next TM train for DH. Just with the equipment we have now with materia he can get up to 960 ATK with Odin when he is released. Someone else mentioned some future TM's that can get him to almost 1200. Baller.

Your absolute best chance to pull the 1 5* base unit you want (lightning, gilga, etc) is with an 11 pull, not 20 daily pulls.

Guys, do I go for one Black Cowl or two? I've got two Hayate's real close to 50% now, but they are my only two. My good physical units are Lightning, CoD, Bartz, Chizuru, DKC (I'm also going all in for Orlandu in a month or two). Maxwell and DKC are next in the TM line once the Hayate's are done.

I would go for two just because you will probably always use multiple physical attackers.
I wish I could do that but knowing Lightning-sama is getting a boost again means I have to do dailies everyday.

I am going for two personally. One is done, and I have another two hyates that I'll be merging for the second. One for Orlandu/Elza and one is already on Lightning.

Anecdotally, both of my rainbows came from using tickets, so that's by far the best way to get rainbows! Both my of my 11 pulls have been dream-crushingly terrible. I've had better luck from dailies than 11 pulls for sure, but I've only done two.
I wonder if I do a third right now on FFV banner it will reverse the trend and I'll get Gilgamesh!

Urgh..feel like I lost out on using lots of NRG and orbs this week due to being so busy at work during the day, although I make the most of it in the evening and do a couple of refills. Only got a chance to use everything up at lunch time. Anyway I'm quite looking forward to the banner to try pull Fang (and see if I get lucky with Lightning but not too bothered if I don't). Daily pull was Sabin, I seem to get him a lot...

I've always rolled with 1 mage, 1 healer, 1 tank, 1 physical attacker, and 1 full breaker. It's well balanced, but it means I really only have damage dealer in the physical sense. Should I change up that approach?
So, for example, my current main team is CoD, Cecil, Agrias, Exdeath, and Refia. I don't have any TMs yet (although I'm getting REALLY close to the Excalibur), so the only truly physical unit I have is CoD.

see, on the flip my best pulls have come from 11-pulls. I think? Well now I can't remember. I do recall getting like 2 Cecils on one 11-pull which at the time was fantastic. My Cloud came a long time ago. But I think I got Refia and Tilith on 11s as well.

All of my rainbows with the exception of 1 have come from Multi pulls. I "think" I've done between 12-17 of them, only 2 of them were really fucking terrible. Terrible in the way that someone posted a few pages back in this thread.
Feast your eyes on my most recent 11 pull. I think this one was during the Elza banner and I posted it in this thread around then. This pull is what scared me away from doing more 11 pulls although I really would like Gilgamesh a whole lot.
I'm trying to stay strong for whenever they release FFX characters in global, as I'm a huge fan of the game will probably spend $$$ to get Tidus. Seems that's quite a ways out though.
Two. I'm leveling all three I have to 100% after my DW are complete next week. Was hoping to throw in two Champion Belts too but so far I only have one!! Com'on GUMI plz.
