Stellar month. Outland is good, Outlast is pretty great, Sleeping Dogs is excellent and Burnout Paradise is Burnout Paradise...and I need to finish it.

Too bad I already have or have beaten 'em all.

Hah I didn't even realize that Outlast and Outland were two different games until this announcement....I don't know anything about either and they just blended together whenever I saw articles about them.

Guess I'll go read about them now.

I've only played Outlast out of the bunch (and a little bit of the Burnout demo) so pretty good month for me!

I played right through Outlast on PS4 when it was free, I have no idea why, I don't really like horror stuff but like Zombi U I was just engrossed and wanted to keep playing even though it's freaking me out lol.

Maybe I'll pick up the DLC at some point if I play through the main Xbox one again. I never got it on PS4 cause hardly ever have a PS+ subscription to open up the main game again.

If you like arcade racing, Burnout is good enough that even alone it's still a decent month! Especially if this gets the servers full enough to get lost in the online. The whole "drive to the next challenge" thing was surprisingly engaging.

Showtime is maybe not as powerful as previous games' crash modes, but the general driving, smashing, and jumping is choice.

Sleeping dogs is amazing, one of my favourite games from last gen. Pretty excited to play through it again with upgraded visuals and all DLC. Definitely recommend everyone picking it up

Mostly 25+ FPS with one smalll drop to 22FPS from what I could see (only skipped through it). Not the best performance but not exactly unplayable.

Edit: Seems to have big problems with screen tearing though. That sucks.

Nah don't worry, this has been possible for donkey's and they've done nothing about it. I don't think they care as you're a paid up Gold subscriber either way.

Enjoy, the XB1 is really coming into its own lately! Only the 360 games are free to keep however.

That's only for the 360 games, X1 games won't work without Gold.

Last time they changed the games for other regions Major Nelson said it was allowed I believe. Well not in so many words obviously, I think he said something about it not being against the TOS but you can infer what he was getting at by saying that. The only time it might become an issue is for the 360 games as they aren't region free, but I don't think they've ever banned for it you just can't play them without jumping through hoops.

Max is amazing btw, one of my favourite GWG's to date, everyone should try it out. Really sad they shut down Press Play. Kalimba is also from PP but I didn't like that as much.

About 70 installed between my internal and external HDD.

Yeah, I'd absolutely second that. Didn't play it via GWG (played it on PS4 a while back instead) and I thought it did a lot of things very, very right. It probably helped that I played it with the mindset of 'an adventure game with some minor action/stealth bits', rather than 'an action/stealth game with some adventure bits', though.

They should never have purchased them to begin with. It was a strange move; that and Twisted Pixel.
The arrangement was perfectly fine when they were independent and Microsoft was publishing.
Only thing I can come up with is maybe they were out of money and needed to be bought at the time?

Maybe Knoxville's development was really troubled but it does seem odd that Press Play got the axe while MS's Kinect studios (I assume they are all now dedicated to HoloLens development?) have been spared it.

I got all the other GwG games without issue, only Burnout Paradise is doing this. Tried on Xbox One and on the Xbox website, same result.

Burnout Paradise worked for me. Is your account region the same as your current location? if not try a VPN.

Important If you’re trying to use these steps to resolve any backward compatibility account region errors, changing your account region will not resolve these issues. These steps are only for when you’re moving and need to change your country/region.

I think that link is kind of wrong and only saying that so you don't change region to a country to don't live in. Because it goes on to say only change region if you're moving country, which if your account and IP is in a different country, you probably already have.. so you should have done that ages ago Or you lied about where you live, but the same thing applies.

Since it worked on VPN, I'm pretty sure that's the cause of it. If you change your account region to where you live now, it should fix it. There are some games that do this, but changing account region or continuing to VPN to where your account is located for them should fix it. At least, I've never run into any of these problems and mines is the same but I see people complain about it every few month and in 99% of situations, their account regions are different.

FWIW, Account and Store regions are different. You don't need to change account region to buy from the US or elsewhere digital stores, if that's what you were doing

Why is Burnout Paradise not showing up as free for me? It shows up as 14.99. I've tried PC and Xbox and it's the same thing. I've been able to download everything else.
