Is it weird to still love The O.C as a 27 yo guy?

I mean seriously, it's still so addictive. I just started rewatching it for the so manieth time and yet again I'm hooked from the get go.

But a part of me kinda feels weird to love a show that mainly focuses so much about teenage drama as a 27 year old guy. :D

Anyone else still enjoying this show after all these years?

I rewatched most of the first season as a 36-year old. It's still pretty entertaining.

(Won't watch past that though.)

Nah but the teenage drama is definitely the part I enjoy the least... The characters and music are what makes the show worth watching.

My girlfriend is rewatching Dawson's Creek and I'm finding it strangely compelling, and I'm nearly 30. I guess I'm just a sucker for melodrama. Also, Dawson is so unbelievably annoying it's hard for me to look away.

Nah. 25 hear and just did a watch through. It's still so good. Even Season 3 which I thought was pretty bad is damn good. Season 4 however is still the best by far.

It's great and will forever be great.

4th season remains my favorite, so nah man, you're good.

taylor > marissa don't @ me

Taylor > All.

Fourth season is best season, but I haven't rewatched it since I've developed an allergic reaction to Chris Pratt. I'm worried his presence will ruin it for me now.

Love the O.C. Currently rewatching and I had to give up on season 3. Watched "cliffhanger" and knew what was to come and just decided to skip to season 4. 1>>4>>>>>2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3. Season 1 and 4 are awesome, 2 is pretty good and 3 is trash.

Never watched it but my sister did and she'd toss me some good music once in a while and tell me it was from the show, so that was cool.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I'm 30 and still love The O.C. Good drama is good drama.

I just turned 26 on Monday and I love The O.C., even if I've not seen it in a few years. I still own the special edition DVD boxset which has Seasons 1-4, so a rewatch might be in order soon.

I still love the 3rd season of Skins.

Truth: the final episode of the fourth season of Skins with Effy and Cook in the shed when looking for Freddie was how I first came across Jonsi & Alex when the show had Stokkseyri on during that scene (the music supervisor put into too much Sigur Ros into one episode one time, so was banned from ever using it in the show - this was their getaround).

Since then, Riceboy Sleeps is my favourite album ever bar Radiohead's Kid A and Stokkseyri is my favourite song ever.

What's the connection? The O.C. and Skins have some dopeass music soundtracks.

Are....you me? 30 and midway through watching season 2 with my wife, Dawson is one of the best written/acted characters ever. He is the wholesome Joeffrey of 90's TV. I hate him so.much.

OC is fantastic, watched whole series last summer, will rewatch it every few years for sure.

Dawson is my sworn enemy. It made liking Van Der Beek in Apartment 23 very confusing for me.

I'm 23 and I love the OC and will always love probably. It's so good. Well, the first and fourth season.

It was such a big part of my formative years that it will always stay with me.
