80s style synth-pop/electro synth/cyberpunk music

I'm listening to snippets of the album right now and I must say it's a bit too downtempo for my liking. I'll give it a thorough listen when I get home.

Well, at least there's one track that's somewhat close to his earlier songs: Hypnic.

Many synthwave albums include a couple slow, ambient songs. But to have an entire album of them? They start to just blend together.

I agree.

I'm about halfway through the album now and with the exception of Hypnic, none of the tracks have left a real impression on me so far. It all sounds a bit too repetitive.

Yeah, well if the album is titled Dream -something and it has 3 tracks in it with the title Dream -something it's bound to be a more ethereal :D

Will give it a proper few more runs, but compared to his previous work i'm not sure what happened in that time between this and Skull & Shark. Maybe he mellowed out and doesn't make dance music anymore. (Unlike the new upcoming Robert Parker EP that is even faster than his earlier stuff: https://lazerdiscs.bandcamp.com/album/awakening)

Been listening to the new Lazerhawk.

Pleasantly surprised after reading some reactions. While it's pretty one dimensional as an album, I'd say it's better accomplished than many examples of synthwave of this style.

It'd be nice to have some faster paced stuff in to mix things up, but I always found older Lazerhawk quite abrasive, even on tracks I liked, as if it had suffered in production. Speaking manly about Redline here.

Got a red copy of the trilogy LP. I prefer the 1st/2nd press artwork but there was no way I was paying ebay/discogs prices. 72 euros shipped to Canada, which is nuts I'll admit but I've listened to it countless times and I knew I had to own it.

Got in finally, 60 euros including shipping to UK.

Got the red one and in the cart is says 42 Euros, although page says from 35?

EDIT: Just doubled checked and the white one also seems to be the same: 42 Euros in the cart but 35 on the page? =/

Got a copy with the haze effect ordered. Phew, what an ordeal. Weird that Neuropa still haven't got their store up.

It's 35 euros before taxes, I guess. My order total included exactly 7 euros of TVA.

Red and white vinyl out of stock? Really?
Motherfucker!

There will be copies available from Neuropa any minute now.

I'm guessing it has something to do with taxes

Lawd, really?

Guys, keep an eye on Amazon, they got some last time; it'll be a little more cake (think it was $70-$75 last time?) but better than scrounging for scalpers.

Now sold out from Neuropa as well, but don't worry. There will be another repress later this year according to Brut's twitter.

Really shit practice. Label is to blame here, Neuropa could have pressed 5000 copies easy.

Blood Music has pressed 10 000 copies of Dangerous Days for example.

Fake scarcity does no favours.

Did anyone manage to order one from Neuropa? I'm curious what the shipping cost was like, and if it was as hefty as No Quarter Prod.

€ 16 shipping to East Coast US through Neuropa store. My initial guess: this backslash io platform that Neuropa is running their store through has cheaper shipping channels than the independent artist.

I'd contact regardless and be like hey, wtf
