If this ever happened to my second country of Nigeria for instance, many of my family members still live in poverty. Enough not to be able to afford a gas trip out of the country, not to mention plane.

But how would they control that? Do they stop people at the iranian-turkish border for example and question them until they admit they are travelling into the neighbouring country to meet up with relatives from the US?
