Thought this warranted its own thread. The results came out around 20 minutes ago but we now know that POR Ike and Lyn have won the male and female popularity polls and will get their own choose your legend versions.

I like old design better. While young Ike's also awesome, old Ike breaks the JRPG trope of young/feminine hero. Ike has manly charisma. He wasn't a dudebro either.

Yep.

They could've done something with the Fates Conquest Lord, with that peculiar position for the series, but of course they didn't, given where character/story-telling is with the series now.

My biggest wish for labeling FE Switch a "console" entry is that they come at it with story ambitions like they had for the Radiant duology or the Jugdral games.

The top 4 on the female side is perfect. I would have preferred Lucina at top, but otherwise I think the voters nailed it.

The male side is disappointing and boring. Takumi is the only character in the top ten I really like.
