That's a good one, and I appreciate the gaming reference with it.

I would want to see into the lives some of these people live just for a moment. I don't believe anyone that is living a fulfilling life would do stuff like this.

I'll get it, but I'm in no hurry. I'd rather wait for the conversation to start about its concepts and any evolution from the last entry than assume that its all together there.

They don't. Living a fulfilling is time-consuming and the bridges that you'd burn by trolling are actually worth something. When you aren't living a fulfilling life, you have all the time in the world and, since people usually don't live an unfulfilling life by choice, a lot of frustration because it's something that you should be doing but still can't get right since it's not like there are manuals for these kinds of things. That eventually wears on you until you decide that trolling and starting shit is the closest you'll get to that life and you start causing trouble just to make something, anything, happen. Other people joining in on your highway to hell only causes you to dig in more.

Although there was one case a while back where a dude got off on convincing people online to kill themselves and ruined his life as a result because he chose that "hobby" over his wife. I fail to understand how someone who has a person who values them enough to put them at the top of their priority list can throw it away like that, especially for something that fucked up.

People aren't pushing back enough. I suppose it's not entirely possible. With every terrible thing, people become desensitised/disillusioned and just carry on.

The group I hate the most? Like, really fucking hate? It's not the self-proclaimed racists ~~ it's not the borderline fascists ~~ it's the group in the middle who will accept the status quo and wants everyone else to stop moaning. "Like dude, stop complaining, I can get by and so should you."

These are of course the same people who would say how awful shit was before it became the most influential.

Damn, I just realized the only games I'm really hyped for this year are Zelda, Mario, and Crash Remastered. And Red Dead 2 if that ends up coming this year.
