Looks great. They said they were aiming to reinvent or at least freshen up 2D brawlers, and this looks like it might just do it.

I didn't see a single anthropomorphic animal in that trailer.....false advertising!

;)

Looks fun, almost Castle Crashers-esque. Anything that is Castle Crashers-esque automatically gets my attention.

Talented indie developers need to stop using "furies" in their game titles.

Full Metal Furries indeed.

Not a fan of the artstyle, I also think its a mistake to launch on pc and xbone and leave PS4 in the wind but what do I know

HOLY SHIT. I played Rogue Legacy for hundreds of hours across PC and PS4. This looks FANTASTIC. And the trailer music is SO GODDAMN HYPE.

Yeah, the "Furies" thing makes me stop and second guess my reading every single time. I can't help but think that's intentional? Furries are most common in nerd scenes, so the association should be pretty obvious. Or if it's not intentional, then they must at least know that it's gonna make peoples' brains go there.

Sweet! I loved Rogue Legacy and this seems to look pretty cool. Most likely will get this day one since it's an Xbox Play Anywhere title with cross play. :D

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
Pixel-art characters with non pixel-art backgrounds and HUD elements.

Cool, I'll keep an eye on it, absolutely love Rogue Legacy. Maybe now that this is coming in my mind, we're one step closer to a Spelunky sequel as well.

Wow, glad I watched the trailer because the key art on the website makes it look like an old flash game. In game looks more like Super Time Force, among others, which is a great look. The gameplay itself looks very frenetic. Looking forward to it!

Released on PS a year before Xbox.

Not sure I understand releasing an indie only on XB1, console-wise, unless MS bankrolled some of it. Hope it does well for them, regardless.

Is it against the law or something? Doesn't Shin'en release 99% of their games exclusively on Nintendo consoles? Not even seeing PC release.

Wow. So much port begging in this thread already....

That aside, this looks like something I am 100% not interested in playing. not a fan of the style of game, and the art style really rubs me the wrong way.

Loved rogue legacy on vita but not sure if I will like this. Regarding missing PS4, It is most likely a timed exclusive deal by ms to promote uwp/xpa. Seems obvious when they pimp that feature during its very first reveal.

Bit of an extreme response, but, no, it is not against the law to only release an indie game on Xbox One.

I just think it's strange to leave out the console where indies seem to thrive the most. I would say the same for Shin'en. I'm sure they have their reasons, however.

Bit of a disappointment to see this following up the excellent Rogue Legacy.

Did they do the dev work on the PS4 version of Rogue Legacy or was it that French port house that did stuff like Spelunky? That's the only reason why I could see no PS4 version listed, then they just do the universal Windows thing to get in on Xbox.

Or Microsoft just paid for it to add another play anywhere title that isn't first party. I don't know.

Seems silly not to do a PS4 version unless they got paid by Microsoft... wasn't RL even part of Sony's big Summer of Play promotion too? Weird.

We don't really know how most indies do on Xbox and PS4 to be honest. They both get a lot of indies (and a lot of the same ones), but they both seem to do good at selling indie games.

Read the title as furries as damn near wrote it off instantly.

Then I realized the error in my ways, watched the trailer, and am now day one on XBL for that play anywhere goodness

The game looks crazy

]I love brawlers/beat em ups but this is way more on the Castle Crashers end of the spectrum than Streets Of Rage[/B]. Disappointing how to most modern devs Castle Crashers = beat em ups

Not a fan of the art at all.

Rogue Legacy was a huge hit (despite not really being my cup of tea) so I hope this finds its audience

What? I didn't get either of those games through that trailer. More like its own thing.

Anyway looks fantastic, can't wait.
