Drake has been made fun of his whole career for being a "pansy emotional romantic soft kid". He got his big break for being on a Canadian teenage drama.

He's light skinned
So many of his songs are about whining over girls or being distraught over love, the exact opposite of the macho man douchebag personality that some guys think you have to be like to get laid.

your right only idiots and losers think you need to be a Dickbag/alpha. These type of men ruin it for every other man out there. Girls become wary of men due to them treating them like shit most of the time. Anyway a good woman knows quality when she sees it, unfortunately there are not a lot of good girls left out there. Way too many of them look for money/success over true love.

However! Drake is a popstar and popstars can be whatever they like and still get the ladies. so I dont think this applies to him. :)

Drake still tries to play the alpha a good amount in addition to his "songs about girls". He goes sentimental sometimes, he tries to act hard and alpha male sometimes. Girls buy the sentimental act, most guys/people don't buy the tough act (which is why it gets laughed at so much).

Trump has been notoriously known as a con artist/joke by his peers and the media his whole life. He was considered a joke rich guy/ reality tv star.

He then took advantage of the hyper anti-intellectualism and racist demagoguery in this country (cultivated for decades by the GOP) and accidentally fell into the presidency (let's not also forget that tons of people just hate Hillary Clinton just "because")

Trumps life has been a list of failures countered by his silver spoon upbringing. He's failed many many times and got lucky ONCE.

Drake "got lucky" multiple times dating all these A-list celebs in comparison.

It's not the same thing

Also, and this is my biggest problem with Drake, on every album he moans about women and then on the next track raps about how awesome he is, how many people are gunning for him (lol) and how many bitches he is fucking or whatever. I find it super jarring and not in a good way.

Like really?

I don't follow pop culture much, but all I've heard is of drake and his crew getting into a bottle throwing fight with Chris brown at a nightclub a few years ago.

Yes. It's perfectly possible for big celebrities (and their marketing teams) to control everything the public knows about them.

Take Beyoncé, she's probably one of the biggest celebrities around, maybe the biggest, yet we know absolutely nothing about her personal day-to-day life.

Drake is a popstar with enough acting chops to pull off different personas that are appealing to different demographics. He's a talented musician and has been able to identify rising musical trends and coopt them. And he's a successful businessman who signed the right deals at the right times.

He might also be a 'nice guy' but that has nothing to do with him not finishing last. It might have helped him make contacts though.

Beyoncés single frame pic at a super bowl (the one where she looked all wrinkly) was plastered all over social media even after her publicist tried his best to delete it from earth.

When jayZ and solange had that thing in the elevator that shit broke in less than 24 hours. Beyoncé got clowned for acting like how Homer Simpson does in that gif where he backs into a bush.

Yes they do try their damn hardest to cultivate a public image but these celeb crazed outlets like TMZ will try their best to "out" them as they can. Let's not forget that every person they come across has a smartphone to access the internet.

Trump has horrible shit leaking daily, if these celebs have massive dirt, you're sure as shit that thing would be trending on facebook yesterdays

You're a sad sad man. It's not the alpha male shit that gets you laid, it's being able to effectively convey confidence and the ability to succeed. Guess who are pretty good at it?

Being a "nice guy" is shit. Doesn't work. Wanna know why? You're boring her. Think about how many "nice guys" a girl meets, who just desperately want to be in love, hold doors open, always telling them they're gorgeous and replying to every message within a minute, tips their fedora etc.

The idea of being with someone like that is incredibly boring and off-putting. How about getting with someone who can be independent, works towards what they want and gets it, acts the way they want and seems genuine - oh hey, that's a much more interesting choice.

I didn't start to get dates and go out until I grew a backbone, showed myself some respect and go my own way. Try developing agency, it's key.

Also drake is an actor/singer with millions of dollars and international fame. Your "nice guy" coworker mark isn't. Probably plays elder scrolls for 5 hours every night. Yeah.
