Well, I have a Fitbit, so actually me haha.

I don't think Microsoft is really that invested in bringing GATT Server support, the beta hasn't launched yet, as Fitbit are still waiting for bugg-fixes they reported 2 builds ago. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they miss RS2 launch with official GATT server support.

So great to see a phone with some actual color to it. I hope it is available in the US and a carrier actually supports it because I wouldn't mind buying one just to check it out for a few weeks. :)

it's 2.5G, so it won't work on AT&T, and it barely will work on T-Mobile.

VanMardigan

has calmed down a bit.
The other phones would have made decent windows phones. That's the real sucky part here. And the fact that the camera wizardry is gone from that group.

Rumor is Google scrapped Andromeda, the Chrome/Android hybrid.

Lenovo already showed off new $199 Miix 2-1 tablets that looked impressive. Plus Samsung said they planned on releasing 3 Windows tablets for every 1 Android tablet.

Other day when the Windows Insider livestream was up for kickstarting bug bash, Dona said that one of the most requested features is tabs in File Explorer.

Think it'll appear in the next update.

It's funny that it's the most requested feature. Not that it wouldn't be nice to have.

Only you'd only actually use it once a month or so and there's no actual disadvantage from having several windows open.

My Lumia 950 XL has been an oven for the last few weeks. I've gotten a replacement battery, got a replacement phone and still it feels like it's burning a hole in my pocket. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Those processors are garbage. Every phone with them runs hot. We need a new flagship with a more modern processor.

Don't know why sd430 phones are constantly pushed to run at 1080p resolution.

I think at half price I would be interested.

Time for an update! Speaking to Microsoft today, we confirmed that the updates we need have made it to the "release" branch. It's usually a few days before that finally goes live.

15047 just got pushed to fast ring

I just checked with Microsoft. Sadly this isn't the build just yet! Looks like early next week it is.

The fixes have been coming "some time next week" since some time in January.

lastflowers, does Microsoft even have 5 devs working on Mobile right now?

I mail mine in to the service center. I was honestly hoping for a refund due to a shortage. I really love my Band, but I'm over it at this point. My manuf. Warranty ends on 3/20 and based on the last 4 I have received this one won't last long. I just want it to work.

Woke up to find my 930 stuck on the Windows logo. Fortunately it's Sunday, so I didn't need the alarm. Never had that issue before. Hope it can be resolved without having to wipe the phone.

Let's see if waiting for half a day helps. http://www.windowscentral.com/how-f...-during-windows-10-mobile-build-14342-install

Edit:
Looks like more people had issues with the new slow ring build.
On the plus side, Microsoft's hard reset exeprience is relatively painless...

So, I made the jump to Android. My 930 fell on the toilet, I really wanted a 950, but Ms never released the phone here, so even though I could import relatively cheap, but no warranty or even assistance from Ms left me with no choice as I wouldn't go back to ios.

I'm not sure how I feel about. Having the apps can be both a blessing and a curse. It's nice to have native apps that you know aren't going to be blocked, but many of the alternative apps are so much better than the official ones.

The system is also weird, it seems background tasks have to run on the action center for some reason and it's always cluttered, the widgets are way less useful than I thought it would be, ironically the most useful widgets I found were the ones for Ms' apps.

It's a shame the most basic MS apps are better on Android, one drive and Outlook have more features and a better interface than Windows phone.

Yup, its mind-blowingly good.

wtf microsoft, you can clearly make brilliant piece of software but when it comes to your own mobile, everything falls short. I really want to spectate their internal phone meeting. Would be fascinating to see how they make decisions when it comes to phones

StudioTan

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?
I have to commend MS's customer service when it comes to the Band 2. The strap on my first one started to rip so I got a replacement one. After they discontinued it the the strap on my replacement also ripped. When I took it to the store they didn't have any replacements available so they refunded me the entire purchase price, despite the fact that I'd had it for almost a year.

I still like it more than the Fitbit Blaze I got as a replacement but that was certainly a good way to handle my issue.

You people complain a lot about the keyboard on Android but that's totally solvable with others keyboards.

But why doesn't anyone talk about the contact experience? Jesus Christ, it is absolutely terrible compared to the people app. And for some reason even the contacts on my surface are now split.

Already did, so much better looking than nova launcher lol.

You can get in the preview program within the app. It's a fantastic app that I need to make Android tolerable.
