I recall the campaign in GT5 getting slammed hard by reviewers and the player community. I'm pretty sure that's why they're emphazing the iRacing line model.

I remember my first time playing GT1, the day I bought it near launch, and having my mom turn around and go back to the store because I thought the game was supposed to have 2 disks (hah, those two manual books were thicker than a bowl of oatmeal). I never bought games at launch until GT 2, and now GT PS4 is almost here. After seeing the impressive PS4 games one after another....

The Photo Mode should be quite extensive this time as Kaz even admitted in a Reddit AMA that he was disappointed in GT6's version, and they were going to make sure that the PS4 GT shows a lot of improvement in that area

Than this game isn't for you truthfully. It's about competitive racing and online leagues, etc. Kind of like how the new dirt was about just the driving model and no gimmicks or millions of events. Pure racing.

It's gonna be something more inline with the Porsche thing talked about above even if it isn't exactly that I feel. I'm just not sure how it'll go over as the longer this goes the less people want to hear unless it's a full info dump + release date.

Yep, it does. I remembering playing the VR Mode PSX. It was interesting to play with a car without a rear view.

I know the impressions sound good, I just have my doubts that Polyphony have not only addressed and exceeded expectations of current criticisms- but have actually done something innovate to put fire into the sim racing genre to make it exciting for an average joe like myself.

Street Fighter V is an excellent example of when you start taking an existing franchise, ignore the mass market, and design your game around the most hardcore of hardcore in the competitive scene.

Single player isn't just a "request" - it should be a damn bullet point.

I was really impressed by the sounds of GT Sport when I tried it at PSX. I might have some raw video I can post online so you can hear it, but I don't know how clear it is as multiple booths were sounding off.
