March Wrasslin' |OT| The March to Wrestlemania XXXIII!

She was a damn good heel in NXT.

I know this isn't mic work, but still.......

According to Cagesideseats Sasha was supposed to beat Nia by grabbing the ropes but she botched it, which means she's definitely turning heel

It's gonna be such a good heel turn especially since literally everyone told Bayley so, poor Stinger Bayley is gonna get Ric Flair'd by Sasha.

It's possibly she struggles on the mic because she has to do face material...

The problem I've noticed is she can't keep the schtick together. It's nothing to do with her being face, while previously a heel. Even when she was being challenged by Charolette she would start off in her Boss tone but then drop it mid way through. The lines were just bad and it sounded like someone who was in their first week of acting class. She also broke CONSTANTLY when fan chants would happen.

I was just expecting a lot more from here given how much time she's had on the mic but it's just not getting any better.

Asuka needs to be on Raw, she would be without competition on Smackdown again.

Raw has Charlotte, Sasha and Bayley. Asuka would complete the title picture.

Bayley is the perfect foil for Charlotte, Sasha is the perfect foil for Bayley, Asuka can be the foil for all three.

Yep yep yep.

He's...about to...cut a promo where...he talks very slowly...with...a dead look in his eyes...because he thinks...that's how...heels cut...an...intense...promo.

How the fuck did Ziggler manage to find a worse promo style then screaming every word until he's red in the face about how this is his last shot and he can't get anymore after this?

Ziggler is trying to transition from Poor Man's HBK to Poor Man's 2008-Chris Jericho.

I don't really agree with Asuka needing to be on Raw. We don't know if she's gonna be booked as a monster - although, she should be.

Raw is a bit of a mess, really. They've got talents in Charlotte, Bayley and Sasha who - regardless of how much you like them - are good enough to still be taken seriously even after some very shoddy booking for the division since the split. I think really Raw doesn't need to be adding a delicate kind of character like Asuka to that mix right now.

SD women's division, on the other hand, has been taken less seriously, but then they have taken less risks with the women's booking on SD and it feels like a bit of a lesser attraction. Adding Asuka there could liven things up and while yes, the legitimate competition there is not as strong, you've still got Becky.

I'd rather see Asuka go to SD. The Raw division feels smaller and more crowded with big names who need time, the SD division has space for more.

He had seizures about three or four years before his retirement. He wasn't having them at the time he was in his final run in 2015.

Were they concussion related?

I just thought the WWE were being overly cautious considering the lawsuit, and unfortunately DB got caught up in it all.

I just feel like Raw is more competition based while the Smackdown women's division has more characters and stories. Asuka wouldn't fit in on Smackdown.

Asuka's biggest problem is Asuka because being obviously better than everyone doesn't leave her a lot of places to go.

But I think she'd work better on SmackDown where she would actually get the opportunity to do her matches while other people could do stuff. Raw typically only has 1 women's angle at a time.

But in terms of in ring all you have on Smackdown is Becky... I really don't want Smackdown to become the Asuka and Becky every week show, not with the good characters they have on the rest of the roster...

Raw has so many more options for women that can compete on Asuka's level.

People really underrate the well executed but delicate balance Smackdown has pulled off with their division... someone like Asuka guts it because she's just that much better.

1000% Correct.

Smakdown is the land of the talking women, Raw is the land of the workers.

I'm more interested in the matches they could do with Asuka on Raw (since you have Bayley, Charlotte and Sasha, which could fill out a full calendar year of matches), but I can't see them continuing to book her like Brock Lesnar if he was reincarnated into a diminutive Japanese girl if she was on Raw.

Well if they neuter her in ring work then what's the point of her?

Hmm. Good points re: what show Asuka would be best on.

It's true - the SD women are mostly about character work and the Raw women get the big featured matches. I can see both sides now, so I'm happy enough with either!

I mean, the bigger problem is that Raw is booked like crap, but I think at the same time they *really* need fresh blood on Raw.

It's kind of hilarious if you think about it: the character they want to be played by Nia Jax is already working as played by Asuka.

Neither, she can't speak English very well.

Asuka vs Jax is kinda the first thing I want to see on Raw if they let Asuka be Asuka...

But don't make it go 24 minutes like they did in Japan jesus... just have her run over Nia Jax

I just think even if they are poorly booked the matches themselves on Raw will all be good while on Smackdown she'll stick out character wise (not in a good way) and the matches will expose pretty much everyone else or she'll have to be toned down so much why bother.

Biggest-Geek-Ever, should we change this avatar situation or what? It could be a critical error, in my opinion.

The Divas belt always gets me, LOL

My favourite are the tag belt kneepads personally.

Speaking of belts, I hope we get to see Sanity with all the belts at some point in NXT, although were it up to me, I'd have Dain going for the singles belt, an have Young team with Wolfe instead.

I was gonna say no, but I think we might be the only ones holding on to the Zenk gimmick. I'm not a coward, but I don't want to be a wrassleGAF pariah!

I will respect whatever decision you make.
