Anyone caught the "video quality reduction" effect in the GB stream? They said that it looks like stream quality dropping, but that's what the game actually looked like on their screen. It kept happening:

Origin usually is lenient on returns.
This game looks like pure quality.
I didn't buy it through Origins directly though. I guess I could try contacting the seller but they don't have a refund or return policy that I could see.
I had such a bad feeling about this game.

Yeah, for specifically EA published games, they do no-quibble refunds within 7 days of purchase (or, in the case of pre-orders, 7 days after launch) or 24 hours after launching the game, whatever comes first. Refund link's in the Order History page.
Yeah, it's not quite as generous as Steam's refunds policy, but it did predate it by the smart end of a year, so whatever.

It's pretty depressing. After playing for 2 hours i can say it has the mass effect feel to it, but you just can't take the game seriously.

I did the spend $100 get $15 deal in Feb on PSN.
The game already pre-downloaded on my PS4 and I emailed SONY on cancelling and getting a refund. Will they be able to do so or am I stuck on wasting $60 on this?

They will usually offer a one time courtesy refund, so as long as you haven't taken advantage of that in the past you should be okay. Use their online chat.

The ME3 team is working another game right?
Some new IP, I believe.
Seems really dumb to not put your best on your best franchise, especially for the first game in a new trilogy.
Parts of the ME3 team were on Andromeda - Mac Walters (writer & creative director), Manveer Heir (combat designer), probably others.
Edmonton is working on the new IP. See Nirolak's post about their hirings. It might go the route of a Destiny type of genre.
