oh i gotta get in that 90's sitcom thread.

Origin usually is lenient on returns.

Yeah, for specifically EA published games, they do no-quibble refunds within 7 days of purchase (or, in the case of pre-orders, 7 days after launch) or 24 hours after launching the game, whatever comes first. Refund link's in the Order History page.

Yeah, it's not quite as generous as Steam's refunds policy, but it did predate it by the smart end of a year, so whatever.

It's pretty depressing. After playing for 2 hours i can say it has the mass effect feel to it, but you just can't take the game seriously.

I really hope there is a big patch waiting for us on launch.

How is SONY on the refund/cancel policy?
I did the spend $100 get $15 deal in Feb on PSN.
The game already pre-downloaded on my PS4 and I emailed SONY on cancelling and getting a refund. Will they be able to do so or am I stuck on wasting $60 on this?

I think you said it right.

It feels like Mass Effect. Almost a decade later...

Smells like this game needs a few months of post-release patch love, yikes.

There isn't a single cutscene that looks good.

Make that years...

They will usually offer a one time courtesy refund, so as long as you haven't taken advantage of that in the past you should be okay. Use their online chat.

The ME3 team is working another game right?

Parts of the ME3 team were on Andromeda - Mac Walters (writer & creative director), Manveer Heir (combat designer), probably others.

Edmonton is working on the new IP. See Nirolak's post about their hirings. It might go the route of a Destiny type of genre.

After looking at impressions and the threads and stuff I'm moving to wait-and-see on this one. Some real rough work in there. What is Bioware doing?
