What is Roshi gonna do in that ?

If they send everybody to Whis' dimension, we can easily suspend our disbelief when Tien takes out Frost or something.

As it stands it's not days in the chamber that will make us tolerate Krilin level to overcome Buu tiers enemies.

If they were all exposed to the god dimension I guess it would be more acceptable.

That's easy for you to say, all Gohan has to do is sit in front of the kai for 28 hours :p .

I'm more concerned about 18, Tien etc...

17 is fine since they can come up with any excuse they want "off screen".

Seems obvious they're thinking about how Krillin would stack up against Basil in the NEP so again, hopefully this means some sort of preparing.

Really wish there was more than 40 hours so we could get a training episode or two. Would be nice to see Goku training Gohan since he seems to have so much respect for Gohan suddenly.

Also I don't like Gohan being so confident.

This is incoherent.

He's a 2 out of 10 compared to Goku, he's being told there are enemies beyond his dad, and his reaction is "yay awesome !" even though he literally has been outclassed by any recent threat to his dad.

Same goes for Goku. "We got Gohan and Buu !" so what ? Seriously so what ? Hit can instantly take them out, and he's not even the strongest.

It's getting a bit aggravating.

Not that I want Gohan and Buu to fail, it's just the blind faith they all seem to have that is bothersome. Only Beerus seems to get it. Buu doesn't care, but Gohan should be the smart guy here and show concern.

Gohan has that saiyan blood pumping right now, of course he isn't thinking about consequences.

Only 40 hours seems short until you realize they have the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and Whis's time manipulation too. They can game the system.

Yeah it's weird. It's like they're correcting for how he was treated in the show up until the new arc but going a bit overboard. But then again, they did the same thing with Future Trunks sooooo I'm not too surprised.

Crunchy roll had the characters saying they were about to "go beyond their limits". Was that supposed to imply a new form or just KK?

Yeah but the problem is that Trunks had an entire arc dedicated to him.

While I still can't make sense of that ass pull Hikari SSJ stuff, I understood why they made it that way.

For several reasons, it wasn't just his arc, he's also the one guy that lives in another timeline so he won't stick around, his power isn't a problem for the story, going forward. And that opens up movies/games for Trunks on the other side, or potential new arcs. Why not.

With all the smart decisions they have been making with this arc, it's surprising to see them handling the U7 team this way. (And Beerus' comments are a proof that this is not just a fluke, and that the choices are deliberate and thought through)

I feel like they are trying to legitimize Dragon Ball Z. Because Super sure had taken a huge dump over it (stuff like Tagoma > ultimate Gohan etc..). But since they are not rectifying the issues themselves, it just feels extremely incoherent.

They might train though.

It just feels like the writers know exactly where things are headed and taking shortcuts with the characterization.

Well it means both since Goku hadn't used a multiplier.

But "Beyond their limits" is the title of the OP song and the theme of the tournament.

I guess we'll just have to see. I have a good feeling though since they went ahead and penned in several recruitment episodes.

Goku really shouldn't be THIS carefree unless he has something up his sleeve, he's capable of planning, he had Gohan as his ace in the hole in the Cell saga which is why he acted so easy going back then. Gohan.....yeah maybe his saiyan blood acting up is making him not think straight, idk.

Pretty much confirmed that mortal level has very little if not nothing to do with power level since Goku got accused of dragging it down.

I thought Beerus(man who did they get to draw him here?) was about to hit Goku when they were arguing, guess he can't attack his prize fighter.

I love Champa, yeah just get Hit's whole family.

Pretty obvious Goku might have figured out how to go beyond SSB. He's smarter than just showing all of his cards at once, even if they made him more of an idiot in Super.

And right now you realize the terrible cons of having Kaioken back.

He can literally shit out Kaioken x 250 and nobody can complain about it and he'll just destroy everything and use dragon balls to heal his body if it hurts him.

Was basically wondering if Hit had 9 other brothers that could make up thier team

Ha well I guess U6 is kinda fucked if Vados doesn't discover a stronger roster of fighters than the last Tournment. I'am sure there has to be since U6 has a higher mortal level than 7. Interested to see the 5 fighters added to their roster. I also hope Piccolo gets his revenge from Frost.

Which makes me think it will be beyond that since Goku is aware of the risk that shit can do to his body.

Unless he's recreating the cell games scenario (albiet with some differences) again with Gohan LOLOLOLOL

Should be interesting.

And while it looks like Universe 7 vs 11 is a lock i don't think it would be wise to count the other universes out (even 9 since they are some sneaky fuckers)

I feel like a lot of this fight is Dejavu, but I can't help, but to continue to watch it. Vegeta has said nothing in these past two episodes. I want to know if he still has a fragile ego.

I predicted months ago this arc will last at minimum twice as long as the g black arc and so far all signs are pointing to it.

Edit: i predict theres gonna be ssj blue 2 or 3

Not necessarily, we could get to the tournament in episode 87 and then they just do it in two episodes.
I don't think the tournament is the main meat of the arc though, I think it will last 2-3 episodes and then something happens.
Can someome gif the Instant Kamehameha to the face?

I could do it, but I'm tired as fuck, maybe tomorrow!

With everything with know and the hints of OPs, EDs etc...

There seems to go towards somewhat of a rebellion.

Assuming the two Zenos are there because each Zeno will side with different ideology. This way they nullify his absolute power in a believable way. And also explains why Zeno won't just obliterating whoever opposes him.

I vote for Jiren organizing a coup d'etat because im bored as fuck right now.

Universe 2 God is definitely part of the minds behind the potential revolt.

Probably gonna be :

U7 U6 U9 U1 + kaioshins + Present Zeno

versus

Everybody else.

It's very possible that U7 loses and present Zeno wants to spare Goku. But since the other universes hate him, they oppose it.

If anybody is stronger than Vegeta in U10, I'm calling quits.

Zamasu went through all that ordeal to steal Goku's body for no reason if that happens.

In terms of pure raw power Goku and Geets should stay in the top 5 at least IMO. Other characters can still be like Hit where they make up for it with broken bullshit techniques.

Peru's northern coast has been hit hard by mudslides due to the extensive rains during this week, so I spent most of my day volunteering at a local sports venue, organizing and sorting all kinds of donations coming from everywhere. It's been a really exhausting day and I think (if my arms don't give out) I'll go back tomorrow, which means I just watched the episode about an hour ago and finally have time to properly read the latest manga chapter. It seems like it is a disappointing one but I'll read it nonetheless.

Also, I need that One Inch Warp Kamehameha gif, it was just too hype.

Beerus looks like a dog in this episode smh.
Yeah, at first I thought he was off model for comedic purposes, then I noticed he was basically off model for the entirety of the episode lol.

Doesn't really seem like Zamasu was giving it much thought. How he managed to pull what he pulled is forever going to be a plot hole in this series, considering the fighters out in the combined universes potentially being stronger than goku at the time.

My bet is they find a great team and Gowasu muses about how "it's a shame Zamasu didn't give mortals a chance" while showcasing some martial badass.
