Does anyone know what time the Xbox one version unlocks on the US store? The prosuct page on the website used to show me the exact time, but its not doing that anymore.

Despite the reviews I'm totally cannot wait for this game. Doesn't feel like the old mass effect series but there are hardly any space rpgs out right now. I think I've had it with post apocalyptic games and zombies right now.

So far (six hours in) I don't think it feels anything like any Mass Effect. I can see what they were going for with the whole ME1 thing but it doesn't feel like that game at all to me.

All three earlier ME games were tightly curated experiences with focused combat. Andromeda has more of a free-for-all quality, fun at times, but just isn't Mass Effect.

Don`t expect any Mass Effect 2 story, that`s for sure. I haven`t completed Andromeda yet, but it`s a long way from the previous games. I also read that choices have little impact. I don`t know if that`s true or not.

Well I just asked them when they will send out the keys and they told me this:

We are expecting the keys to be available 24 hours before the UK/EU release date of 23rd March.

Is there a way to get rid of the black bars during cut scenes on ultra wide monitors?

Oh and switching the driver profile to Battlefield 1 and running the game on my ultra wide has dramatically improved performance. I'm seeing frame rates usually between 80-120fps@3440x1440p/Ultra for most things

Got my key through Gamesplanet. Time to VPN this shit. Liked what I played in the trial but even if this turns out to be a total trainwreck by the end I'll have to see for myself. Mass Effect is probably my favorite gaming franchise together with the Witcher so even if there's only a body left I want to see what killed it. See you on the other side.

How do I switch the driver profile? I'm running ultra wide and been a bit unhappy with fps.

So, the Super Deluxe Edition isn't worth it right ? I intend to play the MP regularly, but the price gap for some boxes spread over 20 weeks... I'm hesitating because I might end up spending some bucks on crates anyway, but it might be better to just buy them when I want.

Yeah I just spent 30 bucks on Andromeda points now so I could buy the crates. Will I get as many as 20? No.. but instant gratification is worth more to me! ha

No I don't even think the Deluxe version is worth it at this point.

I don't care about what the reviews say i am still going to enjoy it..i did enjoy the trial so far. And MP is going to be fun also!

God that monolith decryption mini game is annoying, it's quite time consuming. I hated most of the hacking minigames in this series but I didn't quite mind the ones in ME2 as much still this is the worst one because while the game itself is clever and requires some level of observation I don't want to do something like this while playing this video game.

This is that one series where I feel the same, I can't help but love ME, not to mention it's one of the last big budget sci-fi series out there.

I think this might be the first time Amazon fucks me on a release-date delivery. Going on 4 o'clock and still no shipment. Normally they ship Sunday night. I would have just said screw it to the Prime discount and went digital had I known.

Oh well. A day late isn't a big deal.

The sudoku minigame? I rather liked it in the trial.

I don't know if they get harder but the one on eos in the trial takes like 30 seconds?

They give you a column 3/4 filled out and every move leaves you with another row or column with 3/4 symbols in it. There is only ever one move you can make -- just find the missing tile in the row/column missing only one

Thats what all the whinging about the first trilogy achieved, cant blame Bioware for that.

So I got to play about 4 hours PS4 copy. Where is my special flake game? :(

Also the whole game looks terrible (with that being AAA) in many scenes which is really disappointing.

Also why would somebody shout that the adventure/journey starts after almost killing 20.000 people? The writing is atrocious so far and nothing like ME1-3.

Edit: Combat is fun so far though!

I'm confused as well, people are saying the ME2 story is good now?

Anyhow, about 1½ hours in so far, taking things very slow, talking to people, scanning shit etc. So far I'm enjoying it, overall I think the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Main complaint honestly is how long the game takes to start up, I got and ssd, and even then the initial loading of the game takes like 2 minutes, which I only mention because the game crashed weirdly, making me have to restart it and sit through the 2 minute loading screen twice
