How many eggs do you eat in a day?

I am trying to bulk up and recently started incorporating more eggs into my diet. Right now I'm at 3 boiled eggs every morning and that's about all the eggs I have in one day.

How many eggs do you have and if you do, how do you prefer to have them?

Can those of you who say you eat several eggs every day tell me whether you are weight training? I'd like to know. Thanks.

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
I eat 2 pounds of cookie dough a day so that's a pretty decent amount of eggs

Hard to beat a good egg sandwhich in the morning, and sometimes I have an egg with whatever I'm eating for supper just because. <3 eggs =)

I subsist on a diet purely consisting of chocolate eggs. Around November the previous Easter candy batch starts to get a little stale, but it's just a couple months till the new ones are sold at that point, so I make it work. It's a very affordable diet.

i had 10 for breakfast.

and then usually 2 hard boiled throughout the day.

so a dozen, but that usually fluctuates.

i currently have 15 dozen eggs in my fridge that takes up too much space.

3. Usually in an omelet, but sometimes when i'm feeling fancy I devil them.

I've tried deviled eggs but I've never made them. Are they simple? They're so delicious.

That's quite a bit. Do you exercise regularly?

Soft boil them in batches. Put them in soup and rice and with meats during the week. Pickle them in soy sauce and mirin over a night if I make noodle soups later that week. They'll cook a little in hot broths and become gelatinous a little if you like them that way.

Yeah after three they get hard to swallow. I used to eat one a day, recently about two a week.

Why not go with protein powder?

I tried to do that once OP, it's boring. No matter what you put in it, you can't eat eggs more than a few times a week.

I think the key is to change it up. To have eggs in one particular way every single day will certainly burn you out. I may be able to do boiled eggs two days in a row but on the third day I might opt for two scrambled eggs and Swiss cheese on a bagel.

That or rather than have the eggs in the morning I can scramble them and put them into fried rice, sort of like Korean kimchi.

Why not go with protein powder?

Eggs are a complete protein and have everything you need in a diet, amino acids included. Much better to have a real food than a protein powder, although I do have protein shakes sporadically throughout the week as a supplement.

3 eggs over easy or scrambled for breakfast every morning. Along with a piece of deli meat, and shredded cheese. Attempting to hit ~30g protein.

Usually 3 hard boiled per day, for breakfast.

Now....how long until someone mentions that they don't eat eggs, because "cholesterol"??

Disgusting.

Probably .28 eggs for me per day. I eat 2 eggs on the weekends (usually one per day sat and Sunday, sometimes 2 on sat but I won't usually eat them Sunday then).

I kind of like eggs but they also kind of gross me out.

Not enough. They're so damn good - its usually not a bad decision to just put a gratuitous fried egg on something. My wife and I have been doing just that where dinner gets made and then the question gets asked: "Yeah but how many eggs do you want on it?"

What's the deal with eggs and choloesterol?

I'd like to know this myself. I'm not in any danger but it would help to know.

Usually six eggs a day. Usually scrambled but I have more or less not found a way to prepare eggs that I don't like. Perfect food.

Two each morning. Occasionally we have breakfast for dinner so that is another three. Plus I have two after playing hockey twice a week.

I love eggs.

3 to 4 egss for about three times a week. So about 9 to 12 or so? And that is not counting using it as an ingredient too for a number of dishes. I love eggs!

I love eggs but I don't eat them often enough. I usually have two fried eggs on toast on the weekend, when I have time to cook in the morning.

About 18 a day. I make a tiny opening in the top of the shell and suck out the goodies with my proboscis.

I'll fry up a few on weekends

2 eggs every day for lunch, almost always the same way. An omelet loaded with peppers, onions, with a bit of cheese, and a spoonful of plain yogurt mixed in the eggs before frying.

I'd need to look, but I believe there's a good bit of science behind bad cholesterol being influenced more by genetics and less by items higher in cholesterol, at least with eggs. Anecdotal, but I ate 2-3 eggs a day for six months and saw my HDL drop while seeing improvements to my LDL.
