COMICS!!! |OT| March Harley Quinn does the Banana Splits

Sophie Campbell revealing she was attached to Hellcat, Hulk, Thor, Nightwing at one point.

Sophie Campbell is super cool, I'd love to see more of her work on bigger titles. I bought some of her self printed stuff a number of years back and not only was she super conversational during the email exchange to buy the stuff, she personalised the book and everything. Stuff like that goes a long way, I always feel compelled to point out how cool she is when she's mentioned.

Ever read Wet Moon? It's a little bizarre but also very good, and really showcases her ability to draw a variety of body types. Water Baby is also a good read.

Unfortunately not, those are the two I haven't read haha. It was the Shadoweyes books that I got into, then I bought a volume of Mountain Girl from her. That was especially weird but featured a similar style of art as Glory, big almost grotesquely muscled character etc.

I agree about her writing, I wish she had wrote Glory herself, no offense to Keatinge.

I finally got a new tablet, that I didn't even know existed until I bought it last night, lol. I love it so far, though. It flips open and has a capacitive keyboard and touchpad that lights up on the bottom half that is kind of cool but not why I got it. That bottom half is also a slab on which to draw with the included pen (2048 levels of pressure sensitivity). It works wonderfully and I don't have to get my hands in the way of the screen while drawing. It also flips all the way over and becomes a regular tablet. Even with the two halves together it's still insanely thin. It's wonderfully built with this crazy looking hinge and an all-metal-and-glass design.

I also got it for digital comics, since my 16GB 8" tablet wasn't cutting it. Not nearly enough storage space and not a big enough screen. This new one is 10.1" and 64GB which is MUCH better. Comics are way more readable now which I'm super happy about. They just look SO NICE.

Ooh, that looks nice! What's the model and screen resolution?

It's called the Lenovo Yoga Book (Android version. I guess there's also a Windows one). Screen is 1920x1200. Not the highest res thing ever, but MORE than adequate for comics.

Man that's really damn cool but too rich for my blood. One day I will retire my Nexus 7 for something better.

Just think. Just a little more investment and you could have had 3000 individual levels of pressure. Now you're tied down to that brick!

Kidding man, looks good. Get reading on that thing!

$499, but my Walmart marked it down to $374, which is when I noticed it and subsequently bought it. EASILY worth it for that price.

I'm finally reading through the big Power Girl collected edition on here and I'm loving it! Dat Amanda Conner art.

Android or Windows version? I hear it performs better as a tablet than a laptop.

Yea, it was in the Marvel fall catalogue. Due at the very end of the year.

I don't really see the point of Marvel printing HC --> tpb --> OHC but I have to say, the premiere HCs are fairly well made. Picked up the three Aaron Dr. Strange vols from the library.

Marvel will Marvel. I'd prefer to go straight to OHC myself for both Thor & Strange, but they are nice.

Going to read Spider Gwen vol 2 this evening, maybe TMNT vol 5 after.

LOL.

Beside Hudlin Black Panther & Marvel Mangaverse, there is zero interesting stuff releasing, that is not a Trade or OHC from a current book. Maybe Mark Waid Cap but I dont think I will afford this after I get my new car.

OK, Revenge of the Green Goblin is super interesting and there is a big Venom Trade with tons of Carnage stuff that will fill huge gaps in my Mini-Series collection, but wowsa. What a bad quarter at Marvel.

It's the Android version. I don't think I would have wanted the Windows version, tbh.

Good stuff, my friend. Loving it.
I have a 2016 MacBook and the keyboard almost feels like yours. It's like I'm tapping on a surface than pushing buttons but I still get some feedback.

That Rogue Planet thing was so weird. It wasn't even the first issue of an arc, the Rogue Planet part of the story was all wrapped up in that issue. And it's mostly the Avengers chilling out post-Infinity anyways!

I may have miscalculated, picking up vol 2 of Gwen and leaving the Spider-women crossover for later. Gwen
has lost her powers
now? This seems like something I shouldn't have skipped.

So sad that the Power Rangers movie became such a piece of shit and is so against embracing the original show. I would have been totally been in the mood to see that stuff sell done.
