Reggie: Nintendo will have a big E3 this year.

Well, I certainly hope they can deliver. I keep telling my friends to wait until October to get a Switch, and if by then it can't be justified, my Switch might become the console that has even fewer friends than my Wii U.
champ, splatoon comes out in the summer
or they can just go buy a wii u and play almost as good splatoon on that.

New partnership with Platinum announced. Bayonetta + Bayonetta 2 Switch Port, Vanquish 2 and Bayonetta 3 coming.

All I ask is to see what Retro's game is and any sign of Metroid getting some actual love.

Please Nintendo...do me that solid.

I guess dates for Xenoblade 2, Odyssey and Fire emblem warriors would be nice as well.

So are they going to have an actual stage presence this year, or is it more of the treehouse setup like they've been doing?

They need to come out with a bang and not this treehouse stuff. Juts my opinion.

U may have noticed Platinum had to rely on sketch as fuck Microsoft contracts because Nintendo was obviously not sugar daddying them anymore after Bayonnaise 2 failed to save the Wii U.

If Platinum is porting Bayonetta anywhere its probably steam if they can get permission from Nintendo

Concidering the last couple of years, it can only be better, that said, payed online and year 1 for Switch, the pressure is really on them this year to create something amazing! I would expect a "splatoon 2"championships over world championships, but I'd rather see that skipped if thats the case, splatoons initial reveal got soo much time on E3 already.

Anyone who thinks that there will not be a big new IP reveal at E3 is insane.

We think we know, but we have no idea.

What benefit does a stage conference have? Most people get their news through youtube replays and mainstream press

The only real benefit is to hype up the few thousand people watching live which can also go wrong

Not getting my expectations up, really.

But after practically being in hibernation for almost the past two years with regards to having a fleshed out E3 showing (yes, Zelda was great), I sure do hope they plan on packing some heat this year. They need to show lots of Switch software, hopefully at least a title per month till the end of the year with some new IPs sprinkled in. Maybe ARMS too, depending on if they hit their spring date for that or not (as of this post, there's still no solid release date for it). This probably won't happen.

I guess Ever Oasis and the inevitable MH Generations Ultimate should prove good, as well as Etrian Odyssey V (hopefully) on the 3DS front.

Well I would say What sony has done, and what Xbox will do has payed off for them especially with Sony having it live streamed shown in theaters.

Like I went in buffalo and there was straight up lines to watch last years E3 and get free swag. People were seriously fist pumping.

It has a big impact. Go look at how well Horizon's impact has been and that's because of E3.

Does anyone have a current listing of known projects which Nintendo divisions and second-party studios are working on?

if Reggie wasn't being about seeing Mother or Metroid this year then E3 would be the likely place to see it. If nothing happen...then nope no hope for me.

Oh cool.

They're releasing games at some point?

Why come into a thread just to troll? Does it get your rocks off, give you validation, or do you just want to be edgy?

I get it kids will be kids.

I would add a low budget new IP to the Swtich section as well.

I dont think theres much more than we already know. Nintendo has been really quiet and have been able to keep secrets to them, sure there have been rumors where some of them have been true, but theyre just rumors, not leaks.

Im really hoping a lot from them on this E3, switch jas been released, they may have some major announcements for it and 3DS too. Although, Im not so hyped for 3DS, since its Switch moment now.

But yeah, really looking foward to what they have to announce.

Now whether its a direct or a live conference I dont care. Both really work out for me as long as they keep that sales and technical BS out of the conference or Direct. Just give news, what are their upcoming plans and new games with some art or gameplays.

They have some pretty big areas reserved for this E3, so they are expecting a lot of people coming over to their booths to play and see whats coming up.

I'm looking forward to the Prime Trilogy HD port and Xenoblade 2 worldwide launch date with free demo released at E3 Nintendo Direct.

In what way is treehouse live am echo chamber compared to having legions of people screaming at reveals. The majority of gamers do not watch E3 live

Good lord, there better be more than that...
yikes.
I'd imagine that Pokémon would be revealed prior to E3, but I feel like any other first party surprises may end up being for 2018 (unless it's the rumored Mario-Rabbids crossover, which I'm not so sure about). I'd love to be wrong, though.

There's also GameCube Virtual Console & Mother 3 (if they're happening) if Nintendo chooses not to drop those bombs before E3.

He said the same in 2009 when the had only animal crossing and wii speak.
Wait did he say it in 2009 when we had a bunch of awesome stuff like Galaxy 2, Golden Sun, Sin & Punishment, Other M (back before people knew better), and the Skyward Sword teaser, and some ok stuff like NSMB Wii and Spirit Tracks, or 2008 when we had Animal Crossing, Ravi Drums, and Cammie Dunaway?

Something something Mario x Rabbids SRPG.
I know when rumor accounts have been objectively proven to blindly post anything any troll sends them without ever verifying anything I continue to parrot their fever dream talking points for months as "totally upcoming"

I believe the rumor was Rabbids x Mario. But even then, I'm a bit iffy about it actually being a thing.

Otherwise, I agree with your list. Metroid is a bit of a 50/50 chance, but it's not impossible & would garner hype.

Here's to another year of probable disappointment.

After E3 2015, I'm not sure I even want a Metroid announcement.
