wtf. there's major spoilers in that vid. avoid if you're currently playing the game (like me). :(
How can you tell? I never saw so much as a frown or heard any inflection in characters voice to denote if the scene is serious.

The amount of bugs shown is incredible.

This game has like no collision detection, no proper animation or facial system and the writing is horrendous.

Jesus.

Listen, i usually am pretty forgiving to some of these errors, because game developement is hard, some bugs comes out only later excetera, i even find shameful the whole story about people getting aggressive against one specific team member.

But there's so many awful shit in this, it's beyond disappointing...

Ok, I know that CrowbCat could make any game looks like a terrible piece of shit by just cherry picking the bugs and cases of bad animation, but like, EVERY clip has bad animation. Like, it all just looks bad. Way too many cases of only the lips and eye animation on a character while the body is rigid, way too many cases of just slow/floaty shit and lack of impact like a badly filmed TV fight scene. Just, everything about the enitrety of the animation looks bad and that isn't including the janky animation bugs (which to be fair has happened in previous games though maybe not to this extent).

Like, playing though ME1-3 and Dragon Age 1 and Inquisition I never felt the animations were this bad.

Glitches and poor animations have been harped on but it's good that the video highlights the bad attempts at humour. I guess it makes sense since so the facial animations are terrible in scenes that are meant to have some gravitas but how did no one rethink that air lock scene?

I thought the writing was a step down in Mass Effect 3 and was a big part of me not enjoying the game that much.

But this...I mean how does this stuff make it into the final game? A lot of it literally reminds me of the stuff you'll find on Steam Greenlight. It comes of as amateurish, especially when you combine the heinous animation and bad dialogue together.

There's a ton more examples he could have used of really bad humor that doesn't land, as well as super forced cringy swearing/attempted baddassery.

The Krogan fight is so pathetic. It makes Kirk vs the Gorn look like a fight directed by the Gareth Evans.

Good video. Some genuinely hilarious bits in there. The sad part is, I've run into a LOT of these bugs during my playthrough. I'm about halfway through (I think?) and I've fallen through the world, been unable to target or talk to quest NPCs, have enemies clip into or under objects and become untargetable, on top of the absolutely garbage animation and writing that really kills any feeling I have for these characters.

The only ones I can tolerate are Drack and Vetra. Everyone else is trash.

As a big fan of the original trilogy, I feel compelled to finish the game just so I can say I did. Then the game sticks you with this awful, horrendous quest system. How many times have I had to go from base to planet to talk to or kill one person, all the way back to the base, and then oh Ryder, check your email. Of course I have to get on my ship and leave the planet to access my freaking email. Then there's a quest to talk to the person you were just standing next to! Fuck!

I get that some people are enjoying it. And it does have enjoyable moments. But this game deserves all the criticism it gets.
