After owning my s7 and promptly cracking my screen, i can do without the curved glass. Too much of a pain to hold, good luck finding a decent case and the images distort towards the edges.

Bezels increase the usability, at least for me.

Yes, but it still had the home button. So you still had the large bottom bezel.
