Shit yeah, just checked my superstore and they got in a stock of PS4s specifically for the no-tax sale, despite them not selling electronics anymore. With the gst refund in a few days I'm only paying $188 for it.

Major props to BeforeU for posting that flier. I'd never have known otherwise. :)

I was finally able to find a Switch (well, I set my retired parents on the task and they found one). I just ordered Zelda and it should be here by Saturday. My only question is that has there been a consensus as to which screen protector one should buy for this thing? I see the company "Orzly" a lot but they have glass and sticker style protectors.

I plan on playing this inside and outside of the console but I don't think I'll ever take it outside of the house. The only reason I want one is because I read about the scratching when docking/undocking.

General consensus is the Orzly Glass protector.

So bummed I missed the Destiny 2 CE (PS4) on Amazon! Grabbed it in store at EB. Hope it comes back up so I can cancel for that sweet, sweet Prime discount.

Neat, Take Your Heart edition shipped, should be here on time. Weirdly for Amazon, they've used Fedex.

Recently it's been almost nothing but Intelcom (and they've actually been good).

Anybody know what's the situation regarding Amazon's much hated "Anime Strike" paywall and Canada? I'm not seeing any info anywhere about availability in Canada? Are we simply not getting any of the shows that fall under this umbrella on the US Prime Video?

Mine still not shipped BUT updated today to "will ship March 31".

Well, in my case at least, it was because I really liked the standard edition's box art (and in general, I'm not the biggest fan of steelbooks). Also, back when I preordered, this was the non-final steelbook art, which didn't appeal to me at all:

Of course, the final steelbook ended up being a lot better than that.

Of course Amazon decides to ship Persona 5 out early the one time I cancelled my preorder with them and went with EB Games to guarantee I have it release day.


If you guys end up getting it tomorrow that gives you the whole weekend to enjoy it.

I had one ordered for a while, and for me it was because I also have a Take Your Heart edition, which already contains the steelbook. I don't need two steelbooks, so I'd rather have the OG version.

Later realized I could always just pick up a random copy months from now if I really cared about "completing the set," as it were, so I cancelled it.

Also: screw you people getting early P5. Mine's still set for Tuesday.

I'm not sure it was there. I got the notification from amazon about Switches being available at 3pm PST.

I kept refreshing the page for both (grey and neon). Although both were showing $399 by Amazon, the neon page only showed third party sellers.

Also, looks like the stock is exclusively for prime members

PS4 version? All PS4 launch editions will be steelbook.

Not really sales related but I just noticed scuf has been selling their controllers on amazon Canada. I've wanted one ever since my high school days but back then it costed well over 300 dollars. I already have the elite controller so me paying 220 bucks plus tax is a little overdoing it.That being said any of you guys have both kinds of controllers? Which one do you prefer? I'm thinking about buying the scuf.

Hoping mine ships soon and breaks the bad luck cycle I've been having with them.

It says it will ship tomorrow, but I'm hoping it ships earlier, especially considering how close I am to the warehouse.
