Just to make sure, you can't change it to safety later if you start on easy/normal/hard?

I was thinking of maybe starting on normal, and going down to safety if thing's get legit frustrating at some point.

You can switch down to Safety at any time, you just can't go back once you do.

You can't even buy the regular PS4 edition of Persona 5 on Amazon anymore. They're all out of stock I guess. PS3 version is still up for grabs though ;).

Edit - Oh, the Steelbook is available for pre-order again it seems. A little while ago it wasn't, honest! (talking about the UK site btw)

I'm a little afraid of Amazon. I have hopes to get the game on Day 1, this Tuesday, or Monday the better, haha. But it happened to me with Xenoblade X, I preordered it and received it 2 days later after launch date. Hope they don't do the same mistake again.

I'm not surprised to hear that Max and Erica impress. They were also standouts in Aniplex USA's Your Lie in April dub where they play the leads.
It was still on Netflix last time I checked so if anyone won over their Persona 5 performances wants to see them really shine that's an easy recommendation.

Cassandra needs no introduction. Hina in Danganronpa and Totori from the Atelier games. She always delivers and her Morgana sounds adorable.

None of the trophies are difficulty related, so no.
But there's really not much grinding in P5 at all anyway, so if that's what you're worried about, it's not much of a problem.

Safety difficulty is basically a cheat mode (you deal twice the damage, enemies only deal half, you get x5 times the XP for super easy overlevelling etc...) so it makes sense they punish you for picking it as it makes the game trivial.
Considering how much easier every Persona game has gotten since the release of the original PS2 version of Persona 4, you should be absolutely fine on normal. If the game becomes too easy then the dungeons turn into a chore.

As long as there is no trophy for overhearing 250 different dialog lines for scanning enemies, I'm happy.

Stunning reviews. Never played a game like this before. Thanks to the reviews and gameplay vids on youtube - will be getting this when it's cheaper.

Well this launch will go down as a monumental fuck up in South Africa. Pre-orders getting cancelled as it turns out only 20% of the expected stock arrived.
Deep Silver seriously fucked over a market that they don't deem important. Most people wanting to get the game physically will now have to wait for second batch of stock which is only coming late April.

There is but there's a lot more dialog lines in this one. It'll come naturally instead of having to specifically grind for it like in P4G.

Edit: I ask because at like 6am this morning my friend texted me saying Amazon seemed to have Take Your Heart available. So i ordered and it hasn't been cancelled etc, hoping it wasn't purely a glitch

Best Buy has been very good about making sure you get the game before the release date(sometimes the weekend before!), but this time they've failed me. It was charged yesterday, and as of now it still hasn't been shipped yet. Killing me BB.

Amazon says I'll get it Tuesday ... they never ship me anything early. Fuck if I could just get the game today or tomorrow already. Next week is fucking packed with a wedding and two birthday parties ... I'd hate to steal my friends' hearts just so I can play P5 :(

Might just pay the extra £3 over Amazon to get it a few days early.

hard not to take notice of these reviews, i have no idea about this game or it's previous games in the series, the trailer i saw was weird, just a guy talking to some prison guards? is there any actual gameplay?

this is tempting. like mighty tempting. i would hope 1st class would suffice but kinda debate doing the Express DPD. but can't remember if they do weekends

I'm with you. When it comes to release day delivery it never comes earlier. No status update on my order yet other than the fact it's not dispatched. Will start panicking if it's not dispatched by 2mw.
