Fantastic! Won't be picking it up myself, since I got my fill of the game on Wii U, but it's great to see this game finally out on PC, and at a good price, too.

Since this is apparently fine to post with no info to contribute, lets go a step further:

Misleading of them to use the Bayo 2 designs but I'm in at 19.99
Ah yeah good catch. The site is usually pretty reliable tho and has close japano publisher ties so I guess they also got early info like engadget.

Also LMAO at that Amazon pic, almost fell for it while scrolling through heh

Just in time for my new pc build too!

wheres bayo 2?

well once upon a time there was a great outburst of bitter forum posts.....

but um Nintendo paid to publish (and develop?) it, they own publishing rights to it completely. unless this makes platinum a ton of money and nintendo agrees to sell the full rights to the game back to them, Bayo 2 will only be on nintendo consoles.

This is always the narrative that mainstream sites like to put out there.

Runs 25-30 FPS at medium-low settings on console - Just peachy!

Runs 50-60 FPS on PC with mid range hardware at ultra (and some minor graphic issues) and someone left MSAA as a default option - PC port is a trash fire! Stay away, get the console version instead!!!

Lol your post comes across as some right wing nut job "mainstream media...". Pc standards are different, it's always been this way.

I've been hearing on gaf for weeks now how the port is garbage, even in non pc gaming threads about the game.

It had some performance and IQ improvements IIRC, but also a weird colour filter that the original didn't have.

IIRC the performance differences were extremely minor, but the game used traditional vsync over an adaptive implementation. Not necessarily an improvement, depending on tastes.

You're describing two entirely different sets of people.
