I agree. This is going to sound horrible nerdy of the worst kind, but its so exhausting already to explain whats currently canon and when they are doing a new KOTOR game, everyone is going to be like, oh yeah, all games are now canon again! Wuhu!"


Yeah, I am horrible, but its annoying.

I'm mixed.

I don't want another proper KOTOR, but I would like to see another single player RPG. It doesn't have to be centered around a Jedi like KOTOR though.

Honestly I'd rather see something that was an RPG with your party being more like the crew from the Aftermath books.

I was hoping we'd hear more about Visceral's game before the panels for Celebration were announced. I'm still looking forward to that BF2 reveal though.

Very excited for Visceral's game. Mildly excited for Battlefront 2, I liked the first one enough to... well, play it a lot, but that's also partially because I love the SW aesthetic. I think that could be a special series if they can find some actual soul to inject into it, but that's hard to ask from a shooter IMO.

I couldn't promise anything as I'll be in a group-- and on top of that, where we're doing the lines for both 40th and TLJ panel I'm not sure exactly what our sleep schedule is going to be like (shitty) or when we're actually going to be just walking around or whatever. We're meeting Hayden on Thursday around 3pm I think and will have some "walkaround" time but we're going to be super exhausted and might go back to the hotel early.

None of that made any sense but I already feel delirious trying to plan for this.

But if you're going to be in any of the overnight lines, hell yeah when I get there and things cool down I'll try and shoot you a PM. Will be in line between 8pm and midnight as they close the doors after midnight. I think with the 40th panel we're going to try and get in between 5 and 6am.

The panel starts at 11am ET, for reference. I don't remember how long into the panel it took them to premiere last time, but I bet it won't take that long this time.

I'm not mixed on it but that's really because while ultimately, I'll welcome pretty much any new Star Wars games, I absolutely do not have the time for a 30+ hour RPG these days. Give me a tight 8-15 hour experience and I'll be happy (with the latter end of that scale even being a stretch for me).

Guys, The Last Jedi trailer will be at The Last Jedi panel lol

If they showed it at another panel excitement for The Last Jedi panel would drop some. It wouldn't make any sense. The 40th anniversary panel is about just the franchise in general.

I mean TFA's trailer was at Anaheim's opening ceremony was it not? I can't remember but I thought it did.

Damn I'll be working while this panel is live. Oh well. I'll just catch the trailer after they release it.

I really just can't wait for this trailer. For me it'll mark the start of getting the ball rolling and getting into hype mode for TLJ. Then I just keep an eye out for merch lol.

Ah ok, didn't know this.

Considering the panel is an hour and a half and the trailer is probably 2-3 minutes, I figured they might just start celebration off with the trailer. Then go in depth the next day.

I still need to read the final Aftermath book.

I've been terrible in general at reading this year. Meanwhile the wife is like reading shit all the time. Need to get back on the book train.
