Thor rides the line. It was longer, bug still didn't show a whole lot, but still managed to give you an idea of the plot as a whole.

Smash cut to a surprise reveal of a lead? Check.
Sweeping landscape on a new planet? Check.

Almost positive it's Luke and I would say it's a flashback to the Knights of Ren destroying the Jedi Temple.

before taking the mask, he was some generic badie with zero personality like Darth Maul.

Hollywood marketing has been misusing that term lately. Even the trailer for TLJ was kind of verging on "this isn't a teaser really."

And let's face it, that Thor trailer was a full blown trailer 1.

I mean, they're clearly kicking up the red soil/dust/whatever from under the cracked surface. Plowing the dry earth, essentially. The big question is, what the fuck is with the blood red dust under the ground?!

Please please PLEASE let this be the direction they go in. I hope he doesn't have an arc of realizing the Jedi actually is the path he should be on. Hopefully it really is him expanding his views and that not being labeled as the "wrong" way.
