It's always nice to see some GT(3) action, and I don't recall seeing the Red Bull Ring in any earlier footage.
No, I was just thinking that, first time I'd seen RBR, had it been confirmed at all?

It's definitely in. The bull statue might not make it though due to weird licensing issues, apparently.
It's a weird choice by them, TBH. This track has not been update for headlights yet, so when it gets dark, it gets really dark. I guess they are saving the tracks that have already been updated for later announcements. And people say variable ToD isn't important.

On a second thought, it's probably a non issue. AFAIK, even those that have been updated are not final because since new tech is coming even for them.
It's not a bug. It's simply not updated. But you know, the game is not done, so everything you see is not entirely updated xDSo SMS are releasing footage again with obvious bugs (like the blue cockpit flashes at the AMG Fuji event)? The reasoning behind this baffles me.
I did not know you were a WMD member? What are the chances they have to push the release date back?, how far from release state is it in the current state?, seems like they are trying to push a product that is a way way off release.
I did not know you were a WMD member?
See, I don't know whether they will push it back or not, but you should try to understand how development works before doing such claims.
That certain video was crap, okay, but other than that, I'm not seeing that lack of "quality" you are talking about.I'm not, hence the question marks, I was asking, as I don't know, but any layman could look at the "quality" of promotional media that has been released and come up with the same questions.
Don't be so spiky.

I mean, the game is not finished. They know better than anyone.Maybe it's a misconception on my part then.

What I don't know is why people think a game six months before release should have all assets and tech already implemented or the promotional material should be in release state. It doesn't happen like that and it's just natural because, otherwise, the game would be already out.
It's almost like they are deliberately goading the trolls...!
I'd like to think that wasn't aimed in my direction.............
Ha ha..! Not at all.
But have you read some of the YouTube comments? Sheesh...

Team VVV have some direct feed controller gameplay up:

They weren't very impressed with the controller implementation. Hopefully that gets fixed before release, because that's a deal breaker for me. They've had plenty of time though, and they've previously noted it was one of their top priorities in PCars 2, so I don't have a lot of confidence on that front.

I used your settings for the first game, but they were just polishing a turd. They were better, but still awful.Don't worry, I am sure I can make some workable controller settings out of it, even if the developers can't!!!

Divisive opinion incoming, but I really don't think games that position themselves as driving simulators (and I mean anywhere on that scale) should prioritise pad controls over steering wheels. I'd convinced myself for years that I didn't need a wheel but as soon as I tried an (admittedly very shitty) Xbox 360 wheel back in the day, I realised how much time and control I was leaving on the table.
I'm not saying they shouldn't put the effort in to make a great experience on a controller, but for certain games (like this) really don't see the point.
pCars was fucking terrible with a pad. Also, insert most other driving games since the PS2 era into that sentence as well.

As an extension to my previous post, if you're seriously interested in this game you really should be considering your wheel options if you don't have one yet.
If you want to go cheap and cheerful, the Logitech Driving Force GT can be picked up for as little as £40 / $50 off eBay, Gumtree etc. I had one of those for several years and it never failed me, great FFB.
Beyond that, the only wheels worth looking at in the 'mid-range' are the Logitech G920 / G29's and the equivalent Thrustmaster T80 / T150 models.
You can immeasurably improve your driving experience without breaking the bank.
If you think about it, games like this continue to push the boundaries in terms of lifelike physics, tyre behaviour simulation, track evolution etc.
Translating that into something enjoyable on a pad - a very limited, linear way of controlling a vehicle - has got to be fucking hard.
Surely it only gets harder, not easier?
Money isn't the issue, look, I've had numerous wheels in the past, my history is PC sims from way back, so I know all that.
I don't have a PC, I don't have a dedicated gaming room, I have a console and a TV and a sofa, I don't want to clutter the lounge up with a wheel and wheel stand.
I don't get the time to dedicate a block of time to racing, I have sporadic sessions, I don't want to set all that up for 30mins of racing, I want to load a game up, sit on the couch and play for half an hour.
Controllers are possible with sims, AC manages it, PCars is an outlier, it is shit with a controller, and there is no reason why it can't be better.
I'm a wheel user but I recently tried the pad and to me, it needs work. It's that steering ratio thing again where you turn left or right and it keeps going left or right without any dampening or filtering.
Admittedly, this was just on a few cars but whatever...
I'm guessing you had a dedicated gaming room when you used PC sims with a wheel? A home office maybe?
SMS seem reluctant to use filters effectively in their joypad setups, maybe thinking that the simulation should be good enough by itself. Whatever the reason, pCARS 1 was godawful, SMS have acknowledged this and pledged to do something about it. I'm hoping the build VVV used was very much WiP on the controller front, which again would beg the question: why let people use it/video it/comment on it publicly in that state?
I did, I actually had a dedicated racing PC too, but life situations change, so you just make the best of what you can use!.
Sim racing is in my blood, so I'll continue to use a pad, I know many people scoff, but I do OK with a pad on most sims.
Got a loft you could convert? Sell some of those silly bikes of yours and get back in the cockpit, sir.
Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!
"Allegedly"
Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)
Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.
You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM

Just got chance to watch the video, is the screen tearing in the video from the game or the capture?, what platform was it on?
Not sure why, but it doesn't look as good visually as previous preview footage.
