I get really hype about these announcements every week- what are we getting!

I kind of wish they'd do NBA Street Homecourt, but I figure it'll never happen.

Phantasy Star V (Universe)

Let's go!

I would love for this to happen, I've been wanting to play Phantasy Star again, it's a shame that SEGA refuses to bring it to the West :(

I know there is the English patch on PC, but none of my friends game on PC :-/

Imagine an Xbox Replay with all first party games of original Xbox, ported to Xbox One/Play Anywhere, with achievements and multiplayer.

That would be great. I would also LOVE a Sega collection of their exclusive OG Xbox games (Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Crazy Taxi 3, Toe Jam and Earl 3, Gunvalkyrie).

Somehow youtube send me to a review of Goldeneye Reloaded and now I want to play it. I will add it to the list.

I mean, if the reboot ever happens, it will very likely use UE4 and may look beautiful.

Nah, I think EvB is bringing it up because the reason Too Human is in the situation its in right now in terms of availability, is because of issues between Silicon Knights (the devs) and Epic Games (creators of the Unreal engine)

So a reboot built on the latest iteration of the Unreal engine would be quite an ironic turn of events.

Don't expect any Bond games to be BC, Activision's license expired in 2013.

Blood Stone was a good game, shame that it won't come to BC. More people could have a chance to play it. QoS and GoldenEye were pretty mediocre in my opinion, and 007 Legends was just bad.

I agree, loved Blood Stone, I still have my PC copy. Almost gave it up one day. Thankfully I didn't. QoS was decent. Tried playing Reloaded on 360 and got bored with it. Legends was worse than bad. A freakin travesty!

Too human was a great and very promising game, only having a bad or average or janky gameplay and horrible and tedious death scenes :/

Yeah I agree, enjoyed it when it was released and a sequel could have fixed all the problems it had which would of made it a promising IP.

I know it will never happen, but I'd love to have BC for Splatterhouse. One of the few games of my collection that is not BC. Too bad that game bombed because it was not that bad, in fact it was kinda decent and serviceable.

Some people actually like it. One of my sons loved it for whatever reason for example.

I hope I didn't come across as sneering at other people's taste, I just genuinely can't discern sincerity on the internet any more. Not to mention that game is an easy whipping boy. FWIW, I really wanted to like Too Human at its release.

Didn't see this mentioned on last couple of pages so...Just randomly checked my downloadable games right now and Dragon Age: Origins is up on EA Access now! :D

Hope they do a DLC sale soon as well so I can add Return to Ostagar and the Warden's Keep one. Feel like those are kind of essential.

Edit: Wow been on there since April 10th. Was definitely out of the loop on this one.
To latch onto this, anybody know if the Ultimate Edition (with Awakening and DLC on a second disc) will work with BC? As in, has anybody tried and seen the Xbox recognize you own the DLC?

I enjoyed that game a lot, and considering it has no PC port at all. I'd be all for it hitting BC

I know every loves to throw around what games they would like in BC but I honestly would prefer that Microsoft focus on bringing 360 exclusives and console exclusives to backwards compatibility. If that means we get Too Human and Army of Two before the likes of Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space, etc.then so be it. I suppose what I am saying is I would rather have Microsoft continue to untie games from console specific hardware, then to focus on multiplats which can be played on relatively weak PC hardware.

Agree 100%

Douchebag. Yes, me.
I would do things for Too Human to become BC.

Silicon Knights was forced to recall and destroy every physical game in the world and delete all source code. The lawsuit also states that the game can never be sold in any form ever again.

Too Human is not only never going to be BC, but it's going to be one of the rarest games in the world once the DVDs in people's posession start degrading and failing.

The lawsuit is with Epic though right? Microsoft and Epic continue to have a good relationship, I'm sure if push comes to shove, if money could be had, they could work it out. The reality is I highly doubt the demand is all that high for Too Human for either party to bother.

I'm pretty sure that no party can go back on the final court ruling that the game must be destroyed and no copy can ever be sold again.

The reason the game had to be destroyed and not sold again is so that neither party (Microsoft/SK or Epic) could ever start profiting from the sale of the game again as it's actual ownership is disputed in so many different ways. I'm sure that if MS/Epic started selling the game again, Dyack would crawl out from his Alt-Right MRA bunker and try to sue them again claiming it was his IP.

So the question is, who currently owns the rights to Too Human? Silicon Knights, but they have a court order preventing them from selling any new copies? Did Epic win some rights over the IP? I know Microsoft published Too Human, perhaps they have some form of influence on it?

EDIT - Also, making a game BC doesnt mean Microsoft has to make a digital version available for purchase. Perhaps there is a loop hole that would allow Silocon Knights to give Microsoft permission to enable 'compatibility' for those who own it.

In fact, thinking about it, would the lawsuit mean Microsoft would not be permitted to hold a digital version of the game on their servers?
