Anyone want to gift swap new champs to each other to save ip and get an icon?

I would do 5s if people are serious about working on teams.

I'm down to trade, just need to grab my first win of the day later and I can swap it out
Xayah is fun, but I think I need to go double zeal item. She's so slow without the extra movement speed.
If you want MS that badly there are better ways to go around it. Double Zeal on an ER champion that isn't Ashe will cripple your build later on.

Plus that's what your W is for.

Nowadays you can just start watching the anime, start from the first season. The first Part (first 9 episodes) can be a bit slow, but once Part 2 starts it gets great.

If you prefer reading the manga it's all out there as well.
hmm yea idk if i can dedicate 9 episodes to something that won't immediately grab me

at least madoka i hear it's only two lame episodes before it gets good

But that isnt ori, that is ms fortune
it's ori enough damn it

It's on Crunchyroll

You will not regret it
we'll see

i probably should cancel my crunchyroll subscription. i was kind of interested in watching gundam 00 or something but it never really happened and i should probably just have it unsubbed and just sub for specific stuff

Part 1 isn't bad but it takes a handful episodes until it gets into the fighting.

Phantom Blood is basically the backstory setup for the entire series up to Stone Ocean. I don't recommend skipping it.

Was in the mood for my rakned game of the day, but now I've given up.

The first game I realized I was stuck at the loading screen, so I quit the game and tried to reconnect, but I'd always get an error message and the loading screen would kick me back to the client. I restarted my computer, but even then I kept getting the same message, and it only went away after I decided to suck it up and load the new client... but once i joined the game our mid and adc had the same issue, and Vayne never got to reconnect so we had to remake.

The second game I kept the new client running, and I must say that champion select was horrible, with all the cool pick/ban animations made my computer cough up blood while things looked like a PowerPoint slideshow at best (and I was running it on toaster mode)... but I digress. In-game we noticed their support wasnt there, and lo and behold they remade as well.

Guess I'll try again tonight or tomorrow, but I've got to say that I'm not thrilled at all about being forced to use the new client. Seriously, champ select performed even worse than a freaking 5v5 teamfight with all graphical settings set to high...

It's not as if it is 9 bad episodes, it's more like a couple slow episodes and a couple good episodes. It's worth it, I think, and you might or might not enjoy part 1 more than me. I think it's well worth it for part 2 which is great all the time. Madoka is also a good series.

wow u have so many skin shards lol

Got a hoarding problem with rare consumables

"better save these megalixirs for the final boss"

> have 99 megalixirs at final boss

"welp, i don't even need those now"

I'm trying really hard to fix that habit nowadays though.

Pretty much what I used to do in any RPG.

Same here. The worst part is once I started forcing myself to use those items I realized they further broke most RPGs, so I now keep them unused not because of a propensity for hoarding, but because using them makes things even easier, and even selling them can be an unfair advantage.

When it comes to shards in LoL, I disenchant whatever I like the least as soon as I happen to need the essence, but keep them around otherwise.

Started playing again.

Gotta say ... BOTRK WW Top feels damn good.
May be what carries me outta this spiral I found myself in before I left to play a game I actually enjoy (BoTW! :p).

Think my actual spiral was the result of me just saying fuck it and playing champs to learn even if i didn't really like them (Earth Bender I'm looking at you ..)

this patch was really weird, got stuck in the initial loading for like 5 minutes and then just read "0 out of 0 downloaded. 0 mins remaining" for another 5 minutes. restarted the launcher and my computer but didn't help, so i just waited and eventually it just worked and i'm in the client now at least, and it seems to be actually patching

really weird and it kind of sucks a whole lot cos if ur client patching breaks or something u can't even access the old launcher screen that used to let u validate the install or whatever

i guess u could just delete the rads folder and the client would sort it out on its own but kinda sucky experience

MoonToonEx if you wanna dump some IP on me.

Also, anyone know how to look at your stats (like how many pentas you've had ) on the new LOL?
I feel like I had 2 quads last game as I popped off with Illaoi but I can't know for sure ...

Alright. I'm GreenhornToad. Which one do you want?

Rakan sure can be squishy. He felt way too squishy when I ran my Nami runes on him.

I'm thinking of changing the rune page to armor reds/health per level yellows/mr or flat ap blues depending on matchup/ap quints. Perhaps 1-2 armor quints and the rest ap.

This should be more tanky in general.

I'm a bit torn on spellthief/ancient coin. He has too short range to proc spellthief against non-melee supports without losing the trade, he needs the help from his adc for a EWQE trade to really make it worth it.

With the quests popping up in the midseason update the coin quest is likely much easier to complete than the spellthief quest.

Rakan has decent right ap scalings for both shields, heals and damage so spellthief and ap runes are attractive for that reason.

Windspeaker should be the best keystone at least, especially since you probably want redemption/locket like every other support.

Seeing how damn stupid some people play really drives home the notion that some games just aren't meant to be carried.

Unless ... people have found out if the Boy can top
I don't think they have though and I just got Kled from a reroll so gril plz

stormraiders on quinn feels so good

honestly quinn kind of turned into one of my favorite champions ever lately. it's a top laner i can actually play and be effective with, she has utility and murders shit which is like totally my jam but most of all i love how you can just shove whatever bullshit u want into her inventory and she kinda still works

like i'm really into building youmuus into black cleaver now and it feels pretty great on her in most situations, but i've done like tankier builds with sterak's gage and maw and frozen mallet or crit builds with ie and shit

she's really awesome

i need to make some extra runepages for her, i feel like always running the same adc style runes is probably not ideal since i could probably get more use out of blues in certain matchups. like maybe do attack speed blues, ad quints and arpen reds against ad

kind of a pity that with midseason dedicating time to supports redemption doesn't seem to be addressed

it's too fucking ubiquitous which is a red flag already but it's also like giving supports a moment of power that they rarely have so idk what a good answer to it would be

i think being trapped in item paths is lame tho so the item probably needs big changes

I think Locket is as much of problem if not a bigger problem than Redemption. Redemption is useful but against the assassin and burst-heavy meta we have right now in mid/jungle Locket has the much better active but it feels so bad to buy Locket. You get no mana regen or cdr after all, so many supports can't afford to buy it without gimping themselves.

It is as you say though, and the actives are really really good to offer supports some power.

I think more support items need impactful actives so that there can be more of a choice between them, since an active must be more impactful than the passives from items, even if it's just a kinda-lame active. Ardent censer could be "Active: For 10 seconds allied champions that receive your heals and shields get X% attack speed and Y magic damage on-hit for Z seconds". The numbers could be larger and thus the item more impactful than right now, even if it's a kinda lame active. Get the numbers right and it could rival redemption.

Supports really need the power from these items after all.

I don't think Rakan would do super well top.

I only got one game in, but Rakan is fun as hell. I love the mobility and it feels like he'll be a top-ish level support. I'm not good enough to say if he'll be super P/B worthy while Lulu/Karma/Nami are still strong supports, but I think he easily at least falls into the higher portion of T2 supports.

I kind of expect the blind pick game 2 at inhouses today to be Xayah Rakan vs Xayah Rakan

How many people actually move as fast as Quinn in ult with ghost blade? Like regularly. I don't know why it was changed, but I will say that it looks like it provides an extra half second of invulnerability/untargetability.

It's okay for a targeted CC ability to require a tiny bit of thought. Speaking practically you'll never really see people outrunning it anyways...

i feel like they gotta be careful with doing too many actives cos that's really hard to track and if a support has like 3 or 4 of those they can singlehandedly do like a crazy burst of utility that's probably gonna be abusable

like imagine if a support just does like ardent censer+locket+zekes on a kogmaw or something, that's probably not fun lol

maybe if they do something like the hextech items mid, shared cooldowns on some of those items so you got to choose more of a build path you take. supports feel like they buy pretty much the same shit every game so having some items lock some others out wouldn't be a bad idea

i was thinking, is there are site that tracks the % of item buys? like in how many games there's redemption+locket, etc.?

This is what I was thinking as well. Keep Redemption and Locket strong but make it so you can't straight up reset a teamfight with two button presses.

There's better ways of introducing thought behind ability use than adding clunkiness. Compared to Sej and the Zac reworks, there's very little thought put behind Maokai's rework.

The extra invulnerability isn't worth the slow. It genuinely feels horrible to use. Yeah, chasing Quinn is an exaggeration and an uncommon at best scenario, but it really, really does feel awful right now.

Its a bug

Thank Jebus.

I did bork into frozen mallet against Mundo one time. The damage was on the low side but it was really funny being able to kite/chase him forever as he helplessly waddled around.
