We will be playing Trivia Murder Party on the @c2e2 Twitch stage this Sunday at 11:45 PM (This was a mistake. They meant 11:45 AM) CT. And we have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
https://twitter.com/jackboxgames/status/855548242838376448

Last year at C2E2, they used their time on the stream to announce Drawful 2 and Jackbox Party Pack 3. It won't be known if they'll announce 2 games again until the time comes. Hoping we at least get YDKJ 2017 or a new Trivia Murder Party.

C2E2 stream: https://www.twitch.tv/c2e2

Article announcing the game: http://jackboxgames.com/2017/04/23/fourth-jackbox-party-pack-to-be-called-the-jackbox-party-pack-4/

For those who can't see the article, the game will allow audience members to vote in a decoy answer to join the player answers.

I would be down for Jackbox 4.

Too bad there isn't a way to combine all the launchers for the games, or have a "random" game button for all the games.

as much as i love the party packs and spinoff games, i'm at the point where i'm just extremely ready for a new, plain, non-network-based YDKJ. hiccups and latency when playing 2015 were a bummer, and i don't think there's been any other local MP ones since the 2011 game?

still, i'm totally game for whatever. even if every game in every pack isn't necessarily a winner, all recent jackbox products have been solid purchases.

I would be down for a f2p Jackbox where we just buy the individual games for one massive box without swapping out of multiple packs.

A new YDKJ would be greatly appreciated. I'll buy anything they make at this point, though.

I'm not the type to say everything needs to be ported to Switch, but bringing YDKJ to the bar/parties would be awesome. It would benefit greatly with offline multiplayer like 2011's and joycon support, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for that.

Trivia Murder Party is an evolution of YDKJ

Casual players get bored of all the talking the narrator does. So they lessened it and added more variety to the game. It's better imo.

I'd love a party pack containing all the games and supporting DLC so that there's no need to keep buying new party packs every year.

I don't know why people want another ydkj when the game has been vastly improved upon with trivia murder party. There hasn't even been a good ydkj since The Ride.

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
Jackbox 3 never going on sale in Europe has been a large frustration.

They are entirely different beasts though. They're both quizzes, but quizzes can vary immensely. Trivia Murder Party is a fantastic grab bag of "gotcha" quiz questions with do-or-die minigames, whereas YDKJ is their bread and butter, where the format is mostly static, and the questions themselves can vary immensely.

We can have both, and they're both wonderful.

I'd love a bundle of the games, or like you said, a way to pay for them individual but have them all work within the same launcher.

Well I dont want to rebuy them all :p but maybe there would be a way they could give you access on "the launcher" based on previous purchases. Like Harmonix did with Rock Band DLC

That being said they just announced Jackbox 4 this fall, and will show a game on Twitch shortly. And have announced a switch version of 4 along with PS4/Xbox One/PC

EDIT: The announced game was Fibbage 3

I'd love their games to finally be a bit more 'international'.

Stuff like quiplash, drawful, etc. can be localized to other languages very easily (by means of custom (community created) 'word packs' - which already exist for JBP2 or 3(?), but those only work on PC afaik, und there's no real 'repository' beyond people putting up threads on the steam forum.

I get that there comes the issue with curating user created 'game packs', but it'd make the games much more approachable for international users, where sometimes the language barrier is the only thing stopping them from 'competing' :/

i wish they would localize their games.
i'd love to play this with my family and friends but english is a deal breaker to them.

I mean, I never saw an issue with the online aspect of it on other consoles, since that experience lends itself to the console constantly being connected to the console. But if they plan to release more games on the Switch, a local multiplayer option would be neat for tabletop mode anywhere.

Didn't they say they were considering bringing JackBox 1 & 2 to Switch? Is that what this announcement could be, or is it for sure a NEW game?

Actually just played a lot of the newer Jackbox stuff for the first time last night with a group of friends. It was insanely fun. I'd be down for a fourth game.

Stream happened an hour ago guys (11:45 CT is 9:45 in the west and 12:45 in the east). You didn't miss much. They played TMP and no one won the first game, and during the 2nd one they announced JPP4 for this Fall. They were gonna show the Fibbage 3 trailer, but technical issues denied that. They also said it'll have a trivia game weirder than TMP, and that was about it.

I love fibbage so any additional questions is a huge win for me as I've exhausted the first two games making it easy for me to win.

However with the 4th pack and separate drawful game it is really time to release a mega pack or a launcher to consolidate. I guess my jackbox folder on my PS4 is ok, but switching games sucks.

Still buying the shit out of this day 1

Highly disagree. There are no other trivia games like it. And you could argue all the time spent submitting answers in TMP is worse because you're replacing the humor to fill in the time with brief "HURRY UP!!" quips.
