Stranded on deserted island: grab a Nintendo Handheld and 3 games

Simple thread.

You're stranded on a desert island but you get to take any one of the following Nintendo handhelds:

Game Boy
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
DS
3DS

Any backwards compatibility is fine. Since it's a deserted island, there's no internet (no eshop or multiplayer online)

Here's what I'm taking: Game Boy Advance

1) Super Mario Advance 3: Super Mario World

2) Link's Awakening DX

3) Castlevania: AoS

Edit since this is apparently a question: don't worry about power supply on said island. Endless batteries and or a charging cable.

Nintendo 3DS

- Fire Emblem Fates SE; best Fire Emblem per Euro ratio
- Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate; mastering all the weapons will keep me busy for a while
- Super Mario Maker 3DS; I don't even have this game but I would if I knew I'd be stranded

3DS:
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Mario Kart DS
- Pokemon White 2

Hell, swap out New Leaf for Wild World and White 2 for Pokemon Pearl and that practically was my go-to list when I first had my DS.

3DS

MH4U
Pokémon Sun
Bravely second end layer or a fire emblem game

3DS

Pokemon (any)
Monster Hunter (any)
Smash Bros 4

That would easily keep me occupied. Those games are basically unending. And I've been playing all 3 series since their first entry, so I'm in no way bored of them.

Damn... This is pretty tough! I'd go with:

"new" 3DS XL
- Pokemon Soul Silver (DS)
- Zelda: A link to the Past (Pre-downloaded from the eShop)
- Mario 3D Land

If I couldn't pre-download a game, I'd replace Link to the Past with Majora's Mask 3D.

If I'm grabbing a handheld for desert island, it's gonna be 64GB GPD XD with 256GB uSD card. Every damn emulator up to Dreamcast bitches. And bunch of videos.

if you could ask me again next year, yeah... that would be great.

as it stands now. probably

3DS
Xenoblade
Tetris
MK7 (or Smash)

Principate

Saint Titanfall
Unless this desert Island has massive power supply that Handheld isn't going to do you any good. Probably be better off putting your effort into surviving and trying to leave,

If you bring anything after the og gba, you wont be abke to recharge it on your desert island. The older handheld will work if you happen to have a grip load of batteries with you.

My 3DS XL
Retail copies:
ALBW (love the soundtrack can listen to that for hours)
DKC:R
Bangai-O

If allowed Pre installed games on my memory card :

The Ambassador NES and GBA games

Plus I have a few other games on my memory card. That's if the rules allow it 😀

I guess the island has a solar charger with a USB port ?
If so by that logic will have to take my travel case with my and it has slots for 8 cards, and as I guess I know I am going I buy a New 3DS XL

So err:
MM
OoT
Kid Icarus uprising
ALBW
DKC:R
Bangai-O
Super Mario 3D Land
MK7

And one in the 3DS Being MGS 3D

And all my downloaded eshop stuff on the memory card.
