I find it strange that anyone would complain about the tone of the trailer being all over the place. Did you watch the first movie? That's part of what made it so great. The tone shifted from serious to funny to ridiculous in the blink of an eye and it worked.

I feel like the only thing that really held the first film back was the budget. Now that Vaughn has some money to play with, I think this one is really going to deliver on the action spectacle.

its common to do that with character opposite of the main character whether it's an antagonist or friendly rival. More commonly when it's reserved for big name billing other than the main character.

She has one small appearance and then the Kingsman mansion is blown up. Stands to reason that she dies with it, which sucks.

The "and" credit is usually reserved for huge stars that have smaller roles. Him getting the "and" credit would point more to him having the smaller role.

A lot of movies went wrong because they had too much money.

Also that the trailer didn't spell out the whole movie.
But when it does, everyone will also complain. Can't please anyone.
Trailer shows more of the same craziness. I'm in.

Also, $5 says Bridges is going to do his Rooster Cogburn voice for zillionth time.

And I might be worried if it wasn't Vaughn directing but imo the man hasn't made a bad film yet so I'm not gonna bet against him.

I worked on this and you guys haven't seen anything yet. And that's the way it should be, hate trailers that give away everything.

Out of all the movies I worked on this one is by far my favorite. Hope everyone likes it when it comes out.

I'll take that bet. I have no doubt that he'll speak clearly but will also sound like Colonal Sanders. Vaughn always plays with convention and he's smart enough to not make him look AND sound like his RIPD character.

I kinda like the . . . . secret service stereotypes this movie have. UK = Kingsman while US= Statesman. I wonder whats the equivalent for Russians, Cossack Chelovek ? I assume the French would be something like 'Homme révolutionnaire'.

Vaughn can do no wrong in my eyes. This is easily my most anticipated movie of 2017.

Look great. Hope Mark Millar has nothing to do with the plot or characters because everything good about Kingsman was created for the film and not from the graphic novel.

I LOVED the first movie so much. In love with everything in this trailer. Can not wait


I hope the trend of "the country's spy agency is based off the country's famous stereotypes" in this series continues in the 3rd movie, when we meet the Canadian equivalent, who are a bunch of hockey-playing, maple syrup bleeding, overly nice fellows.

They had me at Matthew Vaughn but holy shit the action looks amazing! It's a shame he did not get to direct Kick-Ass 2.

looking pretty good.

gonna echo the sentiment that vaughn should be given a bigger budget this time round (and it certainly looks like he has from this trailer). you could really tell kingsman was straining under it's own weight at times. a lot of scenes looked fine but there was some really questionable green screen and poor effects that stuck out quite a bit - not enough to ruin the film by any stretch of the imaginatio - but it was clear the scope of the film called for a slightly heftier budget behind it.

also i wonder if he is gonna try and top that church scene this time round. experiencing that for the first time in the cinema was such a fucking great moment.

the more i think about it the more i realise that kick-ass 2 might be my most disappointing sequel of all time. i sincerely think the first kick-ass is great but beyond jim carrey's character (who was barely in the film) the sequel was just straight up bad :/

First one was great so I was in before the trailer which I thought was pretty good though the Harry tease felt a little flat for me. I dug Colin Firth in the first one but I think it was like a day after the first one released or something before Vaughn said Firth was probably not dead, so no surprise there.

American side looking like a hoot though, literal cowboys lol.
