I dont buy day 1 anymore beside some Switch 1st party and Sega stuff but this seems to become rare just like Gravity Rush Remastered so, day one this time 😏

I was just thinking about the Steelbook and if it was up to order yet, so I'm glad I checked out the thread today. I though it might be GAME tbh, as they normally get stuff like this but that Steelbook looks too awesome to miss, plus I've never had any major issues with GAME in the past, so I don't mind ordering from them on the odd occasion.

I don't know, I've never really bought from Shopto. Not even sure they send their items abroad, and how much tax I will be paying.

It's quite crazy to me the price this is going for.

I downloaded the original WipEout HD on PS3 on launch day for £12.99. That was less than 10 years ago.

Now it's £40? Talk about inflation!

This isn't just WipEout HD though, it's WipEout HD + WipEout HD Fury + WipEout 2048 all rolled into one (career and multiplayer modes) with remastered graphics, 1080p/60fps (Dynamic 4k/60fps on Pro) + updated soundtrack and it's only £29.99 from most retailers.

Omega Collection is £30 on PSN, just get it off there mate. Fuck paying through the nose for a physical of this.

They launched for £12.99? No wonder Sony shut Studio Liverpool.

PS3 Wipeout HD Fury retail version was £20, now it's 30 with 2048 content, not a bad deal.

I really hope they add all the trophies for the games. I still have fond memories of trying to platinum HD back in the day and stopping a few trophies short. 'Beat Zico' was a pain in the ass.

The list price of the standard edition of the game is £40 on GAME.

I've just ordered the £30 steelbook, yay. Desperately want that steel cover and the four themes :D

Of course, this is my favourite game series, and it's back, so of course I'd pay any price really.

I was trying to wait since my backlog is probably still going to be crazy, but new external drive get ready for Wipeout DAY 1 I gotta have it! I wished they had done a VR edition or a create a VR component. I'm ready.

Now if they could get the Evolution team at CodeMasters to make a new Motorstorm game and bring all the originals back for PS4...especially the Arctic one, which was portable only.

I'm with you on that, i put in over 200 hours on HD/Fury and had to snap up the steelbook no matter what the cost haha.

Anulpha pass Zone Mode was pure crack

GBP inflation VS. USD + the above = £29.99 is pretty close to what WipeOut HD originally retailed for back in 2008 (it was £11.99 GBP/$19.99 USD back then).

'Trophies are a mix from HD/Fury/2048' according to John McLaughlin from XDEV. Interested if they keep the Zico trophies in or not!

Oh man that'd be fantastic. Was playing Pacific Rift the other day and it's still a blast.
