Taskmaster is definitely a worthy character. He could even take some new moves from some of the new characters.it's cool b/c that's his power anyways. he has a ton of unique shit and copycat stuff which really expresses his fighting style of just using moves from diff. chars in his own way
but yeah he also has a bunch of anims from other chars which i think most folks don't notice besides shit like his cr.m being ryu's

I was mainly talking about the three stones officially shown off but I do wonder what the reality stone will do.
And since someone brought it up, what are the tier lists for Marvel characters? Would Misty Knight be B tier for example since she was in Luke Cage? Is Arnim Zola A because he was in the Cap movies? Would Speedball still be C

Would Capcom characters like Captain Commando, Q (specifically Q. He's super popular in polls) and Jin be some sort of ascended B tier because of their popularity?

Yeah, I do think the roster for Marvel is going to be inspired by MCU very heavily, and they might save Mutants, F4, and Comic characters for DLC if needed. I could see only very few non-MCU characters making on the list.
However for Capcom, I really hope that it's going to make me very happy. They should surprise me with whatever they could pull with.

My actual answer despite her being my favorite character last go-around is X-23. Too similar to that short bastard Logan and if there can only be one, it should be the OG. Plus if there's gonna be better female representation, I'm hoping that the baddest (Ms Van Dyne if ya nasty) Janet gets in. Widow or Kamala would be fun too.
I'll have plenty of teams to try between Parker/whatever other Spider-Man characters show up, Iron Guy, Captain America, Hawkeye, TimeStoneThor, and a probable Panther/Antman/StarLord if I were a betting man.

I think Thanos would get a full rework to more closely resemble his newer outfit and abilities especially with the MCU influence.
Yeah it's a game about Infinity Stones... I doubt Thanks doesn't make it in.
Probably is the true bad guy instead of Ultron Sigma.

I doubt it. Ultron Sigma works much better as the villain of the crossover game, being the probably-unplayable fusion of two of the companies' most iconic villains, and it's not like the world's lacking in "Thanos goes after the Infinity Stones" stories...

Y'all tripping. Trish's playstyle and role is too unique for Capcom to replace her. During interviews they kept saying that Capcom wanted to have a sexy character and they didn't have a worthy iconic "sexy" character except for Trish, which is one of the reasons she was included. And her trap-based gameplay is also extremely unique, like, we only had 3 characters that had that style in MVC3 (her, Dr. Strange and arguably Phoenix).
The only character from Capcom that is iconic enough to be able to replace Trish's "sexy" appeal is, ironically, my other favorite character, Ada Wong from RE.

Even though it's from Avengers Assemble, after the Avengers were able to defeat Thanos and retrieve the Gauntlet, Ultron showed up and stole them for himself. He then went on to be their next biggest enemy. Thanos being outstripped by Ultron/Sigma as the main villains wouldn't be that shocking.
I honestly believe he'll be in the base roster for sure.

I can't imagine how Kang would play, but he seems like one of those that would have an unusual moveset. Hyperion would probably be Capcom's version of Superman.

Apparently who owns Kang is up in the air between Marvel and Fox. But as a time traveler, he can probably do plenty. Things he has done: Summon his past/future self, dinosaurs, Revolutionary war soldiers, etc. He should also be able to pull weapons from across time and use them.

She's not that unique, she is an air dasher with sword normals and traps.
There are way more iconic sexy characters that Capcom can use. They can use Jill, Regina, Nina, Lady, Poison, Ada Wong, Viper, Nilin, Vanessa..
Being sexy isn't some unique trait. I don't want Capcom to be picking characters based on sexyness but rather popularity and game play significance.

Here's how I see the veterans situation going down.
Before I get leapt on for Zero being gone, with both X and Sigma being in this game, I don't think there's room for anymore X series Megaman characters.
Also, even if we do get X-Men back eventually, Phoenix being so controversial last game seals her fate IMO.
The rest I feel are pretty self-explanatory.

Interesting stuff about Kang. I only really knew him from the EMH cartoon, but I liked what I saw there.
That's a pretty unique list. I remember Crossbones from seeing him fight Cap a good amount. I'm guessing Zemo would fall into another swordsman.
You have those other villains like Mandarin and Bullseye. I always wanted to see Bullseye in a Capcom fighting game because I could just think of so many cool things they could do with him.
Another guy I just randomly thought of was Wonder Man. Never saw him suggested anywhere, but I like the Ionic abilities. The possibilities are really endless when it comes to roster.
Loki and maybe Hela are the likely Avengers villain aside from aforementioned Dorm, Thanos and Ultron. Mostly because there's a new Thor movie coming and Thor doesn't really have anyone from his side. Maybe Red Skull for Captain America.
Most of the other MCU Avenger villains have been wack af. Iron Monger, Whiplash, Mandarin, Ronin, Malekith, Baron Zemo, Crossbones, Yellowjacket, Abomination etc.
I really hope this game doesn't have an overflow of just regular humans with tools. I can give pass to Starlord but that's about it.

You think barely any of the female cast will return? I think Shehulk and Jill should be bumped up to maybe at least
